88 Mike Tyson vs Ike Ibeabuchi

This wouldn't even be close, Ike was not as accurate.

Tyson was far too skilled for him.

Round 2 or 3 stoppage win for Tyson.

No.

Well who would of picked Douglas to pave the way?

The only way was to serve it right back up to him,that takes a tough chin and a hard hitter and will power to stay.

Most are going off of that same recipe of being able to take what they can hand out as opposed to the reverse.

If you watch Ike vs Tua you'll see that Ike is the one who eventually turns to boxing. He stood in and traded for a long stretch of the fight, but he got hurt a few times and late on in the fight he started to utilize his jab and attempted to create space, he was weakening as the fight went on. Tua's best rounds were the last few rounds.

I think Ibeabuchi is regarded too highly by people who ASSUME what could have been. The fact is that both Chris Byrd and David Tua were 3 years away from title shots when Ibeabuchi beat them meaning they weren't the fully prepared fighters we commonly assume they were.

I think Holyfield and Lewis would have handled Ike relatively well.
