Nathan Cleverley looking a bit fat?
Must suck for Cleverly to have to sit through this;D
Really interested in HBOs line and level of bullshat considering.
I'll give em this...great new video lead in clip tonight....wow, Stevenson v Cloud isn't even the MAIN ???
His heart is not in what he's saying.
Wow. I don't like Glen McCrory as a talker, and had no idea if he was a solid world champion or not.. Having just boxreced him he may be the biggest paper trinket holder in the last several decades:confused: Holy crap, he makes Nathan Cleverly look like Bernard Hopkins on paper.
Nice tribute to Tommy Morrison and Ken Norton by Buffer here. Respect!
Bah, the Sky broadcast is by far the best quality stream I could find. Wish I could have watched that instead of these guys though.
Hell of a life story though. He literally carried his brother to school and back every day so he could have something like a normal life :
The heart-rending account of how one son of a poor working class family in the north-east used to carry his crippled brother to school - and through life - on his back is now a major film project.
Carrying David is the true story of a future world champion's devotion to his sibling.
It was Glenn McCrory who did the carrying. The large, smiling man you see and hear on your Sky TV screens co-commentating with Ian Darke grew up in County Durham when there were some parts of this country which the benefits system barely reached.
In the absence of wheelchairs and the rest of the equipment and paraphernalia which can improve the existence of the handicapped, it was big Glenn who took up the physical burden of ensuring that his brother David received an education and enjoyed a social life.
Glenn did not think twice about it: 'Aw, it was the most natural thing in the world. Who wouldn't do that for someone you love?'
McCrory also lifted his brother into a seat at ringside as he built the fighting career which carried him to the British, Commonwealth and ultimately world cruiserweight titles.
It was a unanimous points decision over Patrick Lumumba in 1989 which won him the IBF world title, which he successfully defended later that year against Siza Makathiini.
Jeff Lampkin was the next challenger and McCrory was adjudged the loser by a controversial decision, two judges scoring the bout even but the third giving it to the American by a single point.................
JEFF POWELL'S BOXING COLUMN: Underdog Audley Harrison has plenty of support against David Haye | Mail Online
Stevenson thinks he is Wlad or Vitali in Germany ffs.
This should be a good fight. Stenson has no fights on his record though for a man at the end of his career. I hope Cloud dusts him up.
What a stupid ring walk. I'm getting drunk now but anyone with a criminal record for pimping women with a name like "Adonis" who enters the ring like that can't get knocked out quickly enough for me.
Good round for Stevenson
I'm split..Stevenson has done near nata's, wears a cape but dedicates this to Emanuel
Cloud winning means Don King is again relevant :x Uneventful first, Stevensons round off solid left
Clear round for Stevenson. looks a lot more solid.
