Ok. We will see.
Martin does not look that good to me, looking at some of his fights, I have not been that impressed ,AJ should have his number Martin is a bit left hand happy but he looks ponderous using that shot! and if AJ can hit him with the straight right it will be good night simple.
As much as Martin looks soft with some moobs brewing, Joshua is equally over the top being ripped to absolute shreds. Calling this one a coin flip honestly. Muscles on muscles are great, they can also sap the shat out of you facing your first southpaw with decent hands and a boxers mind set. Either way..I hope we get a clean KO!
Here's my prediction ...... Joshua by a stoppage in three
Joshua will destroy him assuming he doesn't get exposed as an overhyped musclebound novice, I'm fairly sure of it.
The Thompson - price fight is a nice example because David was at a similar stage in his career as Joshua . Knocking everyone out, had the country behind him and afew doubts over his chin from his amateur days but not really tested as a pro.
Then he fights a tall American, not in great shape but a southpaw with respectable punch who likes to pick his spots.......
Could history be repeating itself. You could almost say Martin is a lazy fighter but that translates into him not doing anything stupid early on or take any risks whilst josh is at his most dangerous. I saw Martin getting a 10th round stoppage over some club fighter on YouTube, the finish was abit messy and he was throwing arm punches but again Thompson didn't look good when he opened up but it's effective. Its a tick in the box that Martin knows he can go late and prevail and of the two I think he has a tighter gameplan more so than Joshua
If Joshua wins this he deserves full credit. Martin is an awkward nights work for a 15 fight novice and if josh does has his hand raised we shouldn't forget he just beat an unbeaten world champ which is a big statement
Macklin-Rose next.
Macklin is so shot I've backed Rose (a non-puncher moving up in weight who I always back against) to stop him. Nuts.
I want to see Joshua dominate and look tremendous. Never seen him fight before, but been hearing very good things on here about him the past year or so.
Some brave fuckers ringside. Think I would have waited till Macklin left the joint. (this will go over most heads)
Stuck at work ffs! Do believe we're about to suffer a power outage for an early shutdown :-X A man has to have his priorities :furious2:
Good tactics from Rose. Macklin winning but looks like he's been duffed up
I can't ever enjoy Macklins fights, always bit like with Martin Murray, they could be in absolute brilliant wars and I would just feel a bit 'meh'
I've only paid for this tonight because I have had a decent win on the online roulette otherwise I wouldn't have bothered
