Re: Eubank Jnr v Renold Quinlan - ITV Box Office 4/2/17
Ignoring the PPV bollocks and what not, Jr is still diving further and further away from world-class. The old man seems more intent on seeing an exhibition/show than his son learning/improving.
Jr is clearly talented but, for the level he's competed at and what he's actually achieved, arguably the most overrated fighter in boxing. He's faced one world-class fighter and got beat. That's it.

Also he's getting on for 28 years old now so arguably at his physical peak right now or very soon, I mean Calzaghe had a similar punch output but didn't put full power into nearly every punch he threw.
How long can the kid realistically keep on fighting with his full on pressure style throwing massive punches non stop, once that starts to fade is he really gonna be much of a fighter at all?
He needs to fuck his dad off NOW and go cap in hand to either Warren or Hearn and seriously kick start his career.
Still very interested to see what power he does or doesn't have at SMW ;)

He's also sparred with Dizzee Rascal

It's Bonkers
Re: Eubank Jnr v Renold Quinlan - ITV Box Office 4/2/17
Eubank Jr's power is definitely the most overrated thing about him. Yes, he clearly has a solid dig, but look at the level he's at, never chinned anyone without throwing the absolute kitchen sink at them.
ITV4 have live boxing tonight (8-11pm) - young prospects-vs-cab drivers/bog cleaners - headlined by Robbie Davies Jr.
Expect plenty of Eubank PPV plugging.

The Ronald Mcintosh commentating tonight on ITV4 is very good!
Re: Eubank Jnr v Renold Quinlan - ITV Box Office 4/2/17
Any update on the PPV? Fights still free on ITV 4 til the Eubank fight?
Under card is actually pretty stacked considering what I thought it would be.

Re: Eubank Jnr v Renold Quinlan - ITV Box Office 4/2/17
It's a nice/good Saturday night card that unfortunately becomes a pony/joke being PPV. ITV4 - in selling the "world champion" Quinlan - made his win over Geale to be on a par with upsetting Floyd/Chocolatito/Golovkin.
AS for the boxing the other night - the foreign journeyman kid in the main event (17th fight in under 12 months) had some serious slippery movement/skills, came to win and held his own before predictably tiring and getting chopped in half.

ITV Box Office confirm Andre Ward as Quinlan v Eubank Jr. analyst | World Boxing News
i think its a joke it's PPV. But the fights on the undercard aren't too bad! I wouldn't pay for it. I'll be in work anyway but i think all the fighters are in good fights. I have no idea who Eubank Jnr is fighting, but Jnr seems pretty relentless in his training videos. He's a quality fighter no doubt but it's doing my head in with his dad having such an involvement. But it is what it is, I'll still watch him fight but he needs to just not talk as much and fight!!
Re: Eubank Jnr v Renold Quinlan - ITV Box Office 4/2/17
i thought ryder and etches were with matchroom?
Re: Eubank Jnr v Renold Quinlan - ITV Box Office 4/2/17
I like that fight by the way
and I think the eubank fight is interesting, not sure why people are thinking it is moving away from world class
I think its a step up again
who do you want him to fight? (apart from the obvious)
Re: Eubank Jnr v Renold Quinlan - ITV Box Office 4/2/17
I want him to fight the obvious not the obscure at a higher weight.
