With that crushing knockout he suffered (out on his feet), and the back of his head hitting the canvas, I guess it's not a total surprise. Brutal sport we enjoy. :-\

Good news is he appears to be recovering, but I would imagine his career is most likely over.

Hope Lopez makes a full recovery. Is there another sport that can make you so hot and cold than boxing? The unfortunate other side of "knockouts of the year". Whatever our favoritism...there are no "bums" entering rings and risking all.
