the stoppage may have been too quick, but Manfredo didn't look too upset when the ref stepped in, which tells me a lot. The fight wasn't going to last that much longer anyway.

Manfredo was bricking it, his eyes and body language showed that. The fight should not have been stopped, but all the same, you cannot take that many shots (including misses) and not punch back.
