I'm about to watch the third epsiode! Can't wait!! Anyone know what kind of weights programme Floyd is on? The weight looks light but he seems to be doing LOADS of reps! His shoulders look really big! As for his sparring,he has someone who Oscar's camp wanted too,I can't remember his name or weight class he fights(something Thompson I think?) I'll find out. I've enver really seen Floyd spar though,Im sure its pretty intense!

Mayweather's main sparring partners are junior middleweight Anthony Thompson and rugged Kofi Jantuah,

ODLH aside from sparring with SSM, sparred with Francisco Bojado & some other young guy can't remember his name.
But they said that they wanted some young, hungry and tireless fighters who caould bring some heat to ODLH.

I just can't help but think that PBF is due for his bad day. I can't see him winning any way other than a track meet where he runs the whole fight.
I am astounded that some are picking PBF by ko??????????????????????
That is ridiculous. And PBF is fast, but he's not superhuman fast. The exaggerations getting out of hand. Especially PBF saying he's going to "ice" ODH????
Come on dude, grow up.

Oscar also sparred with Ivan Calderon. ;) :D

I suggest you take a closer look at Floyd and how he is looking at a Heavier weight.. Physique wise, arms and shoulders he looks spectacular. Not that its a bodybuilding contest and the way you look isint exactly indicative of how you will peform.... but no one can look at the footage of his training and say they can tell he has slowed down because of the weight.... So its reasonable to conclude that if he is just as fast and now stronger, he will have some extra sting on his punches... Floyd is not a concussive puncher he gets the job done through an accumlative beating...
I'm changing my pic from Floyd UD to Floyd TKO late in the fight!!!!!!!

Re: ODLH vs. PBF (24/7) *Let's Talk about it here* (Episodes Included)
I'd like to see Floyd bang to Oscar's body, consistently. Watching his training,he certainly seems to be doing alot of bodywork training and he REALLY unloads. That could slow Oscar down big time.

Re: ODLH vs. PBF (24/7) *Let's Talk about it here* (Episodes Included)
I just think PBF is still out of his league in size and strength. He had real problems with Zab, strength wise Zab was the stronger guy. He just ran out of gas and couldn't use his advantages. ODH is not a rookie, and maybe he's tired a little in a couple of fights, he still made it through the fights and still won most of those fights.
I am interested to see how PBF responds when he does get hurt. To me that determines the fight. I think Zab hurt him a bit, and he just covered up. ODH is gonna land some solid punches cause it's a small ring.
PBF is at his natural walking around weight. He's been 150 for weeks now and that's how he's gonna be fight night. He hasn't bulked up, just hasn't cut weight. I don't see a difference. Still he's not gonna ko ODH.

Re: ODLH vs. PBF (24/7) *Let's Talk about it here* (Episodes Included)
I really really disagree with people saying PBF had problems with Zab. Judah landed a few good shots in the early rounds, however Floyd was waiting on him, waiting to see what he had. This can be seen via Floyd's relatively low activity levels in that fight. As soon as he took the initiative,he was easily in control. He was hurting Zab to the body and reduced Zab silly hand movements.

I don't think Zab won the first 4 rounds like many say. I think Zab hit PBF with some solid shots and gave him some trouble. I think physically Zab had the upper hand until about the 5th round. And I agree PBF dominated that fight, but he didn't stop him. Zab was exhausted and beat up, and PBF didn't take advantage of it. I don't see how he's gonna stop ODH like some are predicting.

Exactly Floyd spent the 1st few rounds walking down Zab to feel him out and to adjust..... Then Floyd spent the rest of the fight walking him down and pulverising him him in the process.... Zab was extremely tentative 1/4 of the way into the fight because of the body beating he was taking not to mention the counters Floyd was dishing out...

Yep I agree!!!! Instead of being bent over after getting hit with a thunderous uppercut to the baby maker.. Floyd should have had his balls in one hand while he beat Zab with the other hand ::**
;D     Seriously your kidding me right???  Zab was for the taking at the end of the 10 th and barring a crazy circumstance he was well on his way to being TKO'D in the last 2 rounds ..... OH WAIT!!!!! There was a crazy circumstance ZAB STARTED A RIOT    ;)

Oscar has had problems with conditioning and fighting all three minutes of all 12, that won't be a factor here.
Why would those things all of a sudden not be a factor here? Do we know for a fact that he's training harder or better for this fight than any of his previous fights?
I think Oscar is in great shape for this fight, but I don't see why his stamina will all of a sudden be better at age 34 than it was in his 20s.
I think roach's strong point is conditioning (just look at pacquiao)
Uh... look at James Toney.

Its plain to see that Toney and roach have a strange relationship..He prepares james to fight..
You think theres any trainer out there that can get toney in shape better? ..Or in fact atall..
James is james and i wouldnt have him anyway..But his conditioning is no fault of anybody's but james toney's

It was more a joke than anything. Someone said Roach's strength is his conditioning, and the image of Fattoney was the first thing to appear in my head. Agree that Toney's been around too long to be broken by a trainer. By the same token though, I don't credit Roach for Pacquiao's conditioning either--Pac is just an athletic freak--he looks like he's in phenomenal shape even when he's been out of the gym for months.

I Think roach is more to credit then most think for pac's shape etc..
I think roach knows just how to train a fighter and is just right for a guy like pac..
Pac seems to enjoy roach bieng his trainer..Theyr very friendly and pac's stil on top of his game..
Everyone wants to snap up pac but hes with roach so theres definately something about roach thats special!

We shall see ;) I urge you though to think about Floyd in Reyes gloves... He has lumped up and broken down quite a few with the Winnings style which are hand protectors, now you take the support and put it on the wrist instead and less in the Knucle and boom thats were the pop comes from

You really think he is going to load his shots and risk fighting the hardest fight of his life with one hand?

mmm.... the thought had crossed my mind but it is unlikely, he didn't have a contract when he was whoopin the shite out of Tata. He didn't even press the issue with his combinations, he pot shotted his way to victory like he did against Judah. Not only was he saving his hands but he was saving his chin for a performance like this ;D

this is just honest information and two really good articles. your replies appreciated. i'm an oscar fan. i wouldnt bet on this one though. could go either way. if i had to pick i'd pick delahoya. history says the bigger man wins at this weight class.oscar is bigger and stronger.

Re: ODLH vs. PBF (24/7) *Let's Talk about it here* (Episodes Included)
The article makes an excellent point...Floyd is in a lose, lose situation. He was not particularly popular in the mainstream before this fight...after the 24/7 show he will be even less so. He comes across as a brash jerk who likes to carry huge amounts of cash in his pockets, gamble, and have his entourage sit around and admire him. So that leaves this fight...is Floyd going to win the respect of the casual boxing fan by backing up his venom and engage Oscar in a fight...highly doubtful. If anything he will fight a tactical fight which will do nothing to win the hearts of all those people who normally wouldn't shell out $60 to see such an event. And you can't fault him for that...but that's just reality. Will he go toe to toe with a naturally bigger and stronger fighter who possesses great skill and risk getting knocked out...most likely not. If anything it will be Oscar who engages the action...and we will see how Floyd reacts. Floyd, and some of his fans, claim he only cares about winning...that he doesn't mind playing the villain...but that is total bs. All boxers want to be loved and popular. But after this series, and maybe this fight, Floyd could have potentially pinned himself in the corner as an unlikable and unpopular fighter.

Re: ODLH vs. PBF (24/7) *Let's Talk about it here* (Episodes Included)
PBF better learn how to take care of his money too. After hearing his attitude and seeing his lifestyle, he's destined to be another broke boxer. He better do something more than gamble on basketball games. Especially if he really intends on retiring. It's not like he has tons of endorsements. Once that money stops coming in he's still gonna be spending like crazy. Hate to see him like Tyson. But that's what it looks like.

You see what I mean PBF fans, Mr. Peanut Head said and I quote: "When people talk about SRR they also mention me, when people talk about Ali they talk about me"

That is absurd, In the 19 yrs. that I've been hearing/reading and talking about boxing the ONLY times I've heard SRR, Ali & PBF in the same sentence is when his dumbass! mentions it.
Also how hard is PBF trying to be Ali, with the rhymes and all that sh*t! hes trying to pull off? I mean he might full the people who don't follow the sport but the real boxing fans know exactly what hi aiming for and the bad thing is it ain't working.
Also I just found out 50 cents possy/crew/people have dropped from his label and tooken off on him, so guess what my theory about PBF using 50 cent even makes more sense now.
Also fashion tip to PBF, brown sports coat with brown suede boots is a no no! :nono: the plain white shirt underneath doesn't help it either, wearing a plain white shirt died out somewhere around 91 possibly 92. ;)

Also I just found out 50 cents possy/crew/people have dropped from his label and tooken off on him, so guess what my theory about PBF using 50 cent even makes more sense now.
Also fashion tip to PBF, brown sports coat with brown suede boots is a no no! :nono: the plain white shirt underneath doesn't help it either, wearing a plain white shirt died out somewhere around 91 possibly 92. ;)
Is this guy an Oscar fan?
Help me out guys... I can't tell. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Who me?
What would lead you to believe that?

Mick, I have known you to be one of the fairest and level headed in Saddo land... But your last few Mayweather post have been pure unadulterated hate and venom spewing.... very much uncharacteristic of the CUT ME MICK I know around here :-\
Ahhh! come on JT....
It's all part of the chat/Saddo expericence that this is, PBF did his job hes done it sooo much last night I couldn't stomach it I started feeling sick watching the show....
I never really watch the show in detail cause half of the time I'm yelling and talking sh*t! at my screen.
He sold the fight to me he wanted people to hate him he said he want's to be the bad guy. Guess what thats how bad guys are talked about. Sorry! if I've offended you or any other PBF fan but you can def. say I bought into his role (PBF) so this is the outcome.
Hey! I've said it before and I'll say it again, PBFs got the skills to beat anyone hes been one of the best fighters of our generation (I'm 25) without a doubt one of the most skilled. But the same way your rooting for your boy PBF, I'm rooting for ODLH the only difference is your rooting for the bad guy I;m rooting for the good guy.
You my bwoy! JT and if you really that feel that ALL my posts have been hate then thats cause you root for him and I boo him. I haven't checked or looked but lead me to a post where you give ODLH credit or your supporting ODLH.... It's just the way it goes and like I've said many times you really wanna see some hate check out my Zab posts thats some serious hate there.
Good times JT one day we'll look back at this and you'll make fun of me and so will I looking at how bad PBF got under my skin.

Sorry Bro, I should have peppered that post with some humor, I know your rooting for Oscar and he is a favorite of yours..... Just like I for Floyd,
I give Oscar a ton of credit before and will dig up my posts, were I talk about Oscar being a modern day great and a true badass of this generation and a guy who I hold the same respect as Holyfield, Barrera, Mosely, Gatti, Corrales etc someone who win lose or draw strives to leave his stamp and mark in evry fight
Here are just a few posts were I give Oscar his due respect ;)

Not giving a fighter praise is one thing, but slagging them off and nitpicking at every minor detail about them is entirely different... He may not give DLH a ton of credit, though Im sure he probably does, but even if not, he isn't constantly hating on him.. I mean, critiquing his fashion sense, little obsessive things like that you know ::** ;)

I know what your saying but understand he has me sold. I couldn't stomach watching the show last night just listening to how hard he was trying to be Ali with the rhyming.

So I'm constantly hating on him, but yet! I credit him with being one of the best fighters of this generation. I also credit him with being athleticly gifted. If you also go to the PBFs handpicked opponents I credit him with fighting Chavez, Hernandez & JLC all in a row.

Ahh! come on PBF himself said it, contraversy sells, drama sells I'm just adding to that drama. :) He claims to be flamboyent and this and that but the man! needs some fashion tips. The plain white shirt underneath look died years ago. I will admit I was diggin that jacket he had on in the 2nd episode (I think it was the 2nd) with all the zippers on it when he went out clubbing with 50 that jacket was sick man.
