no way Barrera didnt do shit he was content to last 12 rounds he didnt throw many punches and threw the odd jab and body shot. Look at the Compubox numbers Pac landed double Barrera did. Both fighters were pritty poor not a great fight a shame really.

Completely agree with miles. Looks like Hatton will need a KO to get a draw against Mayweather. Is Las Vegas a German colony?

It should have been Marquez in there tonight not Barrera. Pac wasnt going to lose to Barrera not matter when they fought Pac is too fast,too strong and has more stamina i knew this was going to be a bad fight. I remember a few months ago i made a thread about what the point was in making this fight and a lot of people said Marco would teach Pac a lesson ::**. Marquez beat Barrera he deserved his rematch with Pac but Pac took the easy option.

I haven't commented on this thread yet so i will i was rooting for my boy Barrera but props to Manny Pacquiao deep down i thought Barrera would get stopped but im glad he went the distance Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez is a must now.

well if mab is really retiring then pac is a thorn that will never be removed.
losing then gaining 14lbs in a day is bad for a boxers body and if he cant do anything about it then pac should move up in weight. he will carry his speed..chin maybe, but punching power will be much less against naturally heavier boxers.

A HUGELY HUGELY dissapointing fight. I had Manny winning,the scorecards were horrendous but Manny won. Barely any action,MAB seemed happy to survive and Manny's timing,technique looked woeful. Yo put that Manny in there with Valero,Soto,Guzman and ESPCIALLY JMM and he gets hurt. No doubt.

Totaly agree the man is a master he won the fight the man is my hero ok i am pis**ed but i just saw the end Satenta lost the feed around the 10 and i have been at a party jafter alld day just got in and saw the repeat would not go near internet or TV MAB was brilliant :allhail:

Well, I'm glad I didn't shell out the bucks for that one. I was going to avoid this place for a week and just watch it when they inevitably show it before Diaz-Diaz, but I accidentally found out the outcome.
Too bad it wasn't a better fight...
