I have to say...
... I'm not wasting my time with Mayweather/Hatton 24/7. That's about six full days total, including the de la Hoya/Mayweather... full days of watching Mayweather. That guys' arrogance and avoidance of many 147-ers. It's a total waste of my time.
I think it's poor of HBO to only showcase Mayweather's phonie attitude in this interesting set of series of getting to know a Boxer's personality towards a big fight night.
It almost should be called.
"A life in the day of Mayweather and Opponent." haha ;D I kid Mayweather and Co. ;)
I'm with ya i havent gotten into the series this time either.....we all get the point allready, floyd is a jerk, whatever fighter he's fighting is a humanitarian blah blah blah....
EXACTLY!!! :coolclick:
Who knows, Floyd's probably a philosophical interspective man. haha

Floyd offered the April 8th date to Hatton and Margarito. They both turned it down. So Floyd went ahead and fought a VERY ready Judah. A fight many picked him to lose. Soundly beat Judah.
Floyd then needed an opponent for his November HBO PPV date. He offered the fight to Mosley. Shane declined on national TV saying "er, my tooth...um, I'm going on vacation".
Do you read Mayweather Times, or The Book of Mayweather? Are you that Ellerby guy? Does Mayweather hand you some entourage checks?
Ahh, I don't want to get into it.
May the best man win, on Fight Night.

With his defensive style he takes a lot of punches on his elbows, and back, and he does hard work outs, but what bothers me is that his training schedule is messed up. It is not healthy to train all night, I know it puts him in a certain mind set, but the human body is used to working during the day, and it gets the best recuperation during the night.
21 yrs... do you study medicine?? did you hear that or did you study that?? just curious
everyone's body is different... pro-goalies peak at 30... its according to natrual abilities... alot of pro basketball players, especially over 6-10 arnt completely coordinated until they are atleast 25 yrs..
as far as power i was in american football and weightlifting and you can train all you want most people's power peak in the olympics are 24 to 30... your bones, and tendons need years to broaden and mature...
the biggest advantage of being 21 is your body repairs better and faster but in different sports there is different times when your body would peak for that sport....
womans gym 15, womens tennis 17, nba 26, nfl qb 28, goalie 30
boxing 140 lbs.23-30yrs....175 lbs 26-31yrs... 200+lbs 28-33yrs...
CC...great post. Very accurate and informative.

Without going hunting too much, here is an example of someone who picked Judah (Doghouse):
Gabriel Montoya: What I wouldn't do for a crystal ball. When you look at this fight, everything points to Mayweather dominating. The general consensus is that Judah is the fastest fighter Floyd has faced with the most power. But if you look at the way both fighters punch (Mayweather straight and accurate, Judah wide seeping power shots) you have to agree that Mayweather's shots will most likely land quicker shooting straight down the pipe. Floyd has been dominant in every weight class he has entered BUT he has yet to face an elite or top-level fighter in his last two weight classes. This makes for a big question mark in my book. How will PBF handle true welterweight power? Will Judah be able to effectively take the fight to him early? Will Zab be able to maintain focus throughout? And most importantly: What will happen if Zab lands his best shot and nothing happens? PBF can use a Plan A, B, and C if he so chooses. It is hard to see Zab doing more than what he did against Spinks in the rematch. I don't think that will be enough. That all said, I still have this feeling that Zab Judah, his back to the wall like few fighters before him performs at a level we all thought possible for him this Saturday. Will outperforms skill this Saturday and Zab comes out on top in the upset of the year.
It is win or go home for Zab and he acts accordingly. Zab by late TKO.
Win or go home for Zab. ::** Or in the alternative......lose and get several title fights after losing.
No shat, That guy has more lives than a cat
Hell the only guy who gets more title shots for losing then Zab is Golota...what did he get like 3 in a row or something...he made the ABC round robin

Would you prefer a more vanilla Buddy McGirt or Freddie Roach?
If they are gonna force-feed me a fight for three months, I at least need the entertainment value ("Why Bill Gates still make dem fuckin' Computers? Huh?").
Ya know?

Re: The Official Mayweather-Hatton 24/7 Thread
I find it amazing that Hbo have gone to such trrouble and expense to create a series allegedly to serve the function of promoting a fight they are suppling on ppv and then limit the viewing of this show to people who are already customers!
I know Daxx explained earlier that the creators need to make money, but they really are losing very little as it is shown free of charge on the standard HBo and none of their customers are paying for it...
-
Re: The Official Mayweather-Hatton 24/7 Thread
Someone upload! I'm gagging for this!

Everybody from a tough neighborhood says that.
I say that about certain neighborhoods back home. Guys from NY say that about Harlem or Brooklyn. Jaimaicans say it about Kingston.
But, in truth, the toughest neighborhoods I've seen are some of the favelas in Rio.
Billy Graham wouldn't last five minutes in Cidade de Deus.
Lol..But frankly thats the exact same thing..Lol
You cant have been all the roughest toughest places but by downplaying manchester on one hand and then bringing up another place that someone wouldnt lasdt two minutes in.. Pretty pointless
Lol, Billy would last at least ten minutes believe me :D lOL

Re: The Official Mayweather-Hatton 24/7 Thread
One can only look on in wonder at Mayweather's speed and work ethic! Wow. Did you see the last few minutes of eps3,when Mayweather said this is what he is going to do Hatton, and blcoked the right hand from Roger and countered, from the shoulder roll position? That's how I see the fight going towards the end.

Re: The Official Mayweather-Hatton 24/7 Thread
This show proves that money doesnt buy taste. Mayweathers chain and watch are absolutely fucking hideous.
Mayweather came across better tonight, although I think he has a false impression of his own fame.

Those places are all tough. But no place is meaner than some of those mountain spots in Eastern Kentucky.
They make you squeal like a pig, no matter how tough you are.
