His power didn't impress me in his last fight. The glass in Khan's chin has created a misconception regarding how hard Prescott hits IMO.
I hope Khan isn't watching:bag:
If Khan is up at whatever time in the fucking morning it is in the UK the night before the biggest fight of his career he's fucked anyways.
Kotelnik is going to beat the dog shit out of Khan, though I'll be cheering for Khan. Kotelnik impressed me in the Maidana fight.

Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Would anyone else be unsurprised to learn that Joe Cortez has a mild case of Downs Syndrome?
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Prescott is thorwing rights like he has to pay a fee on them.....Let them go!
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
I think Prescott's winning this round, although its starting to seem like Teddy will climb up into the ring & let Vazquez bust on his face at the end

I like Sergio Mora, I have no problem admitting it. I also do not like Pavlik.
If you don't want to be my friend anymore I'm going to have Legion beat you, kill you, and feed you to his pigs. :)
He has pigs too? Christ... Guess we'll still be friends;D
So we're BFF again?

Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Precott needs KD's or a KO now. He is surely behind on the cards.

He looks more and more like Uncle Fester every time I see him.

Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Teddy's falling into his pattern of only paying attention to one fighter, in this case Vazquez.
I want Vaz to win but these are close rounds. I thought Prescott landed the better shots that round. 4-4.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Close round again still giving it to Vazquez because he's choosing the battles.
78-73 Vazquez (I consider 2 swing rounds so far)
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
In the 3 fights I've seen him in, I don't think Prescott has thrown one straight punch.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
That eye is ugly....and my cable is in black and white ???
Vazquez a bit of a poor mans cutie...and not in a Steelie way
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Pretty clear round for Vazquez. 5-4.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Hope the judges don't pull a b#tch move if this goes to the cards.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
88-82 Vazquez (the closest I could see is 86-84 Vazquez)
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Prescott looking swollen and frustrated. Weak performance really, needs to go for broke, but he can't seem to hit the target.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
I have this 5-4 to Vazquez at the moment, although that's all the swing rounds to Prescott.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
I love Teddy Atlas, but he can't score a fight for shit 90% of the time.

It's making Khan look really poor and here is Khan going up in weight to fight for a title! :-X;D
I can see your salivating at the thought of tomorrow night already :p
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
All Prescott has is a looping right hand, moderate power, and a propensity for kidney punching.

I bet he gets robbed. A SD or a draw.
Gotta love boxing. :p

Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
I think Demarco can school Prescott.Lost track of scoring but this was his show and he let Vazquez take center stage.Draw anyone ???
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
98-91 Vazquez on my card.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
What goes around comes around; it came back around on Prescott lol.
Sweet potatoes and corn tortillas.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
I'm suprise he didn't knock Vazquez out as we all know Prescott is the biggest puncher in the lightweight division.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Fuck me, was that Bo Jackson doing a Just For Men commercial? I think I'm going to go cut myself for a while...
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Prescott definitely won that last round, I have it 5-5. Seems there are some people overly influenced only by Teddy noticing what Vazquez does. Why he only ever pays attention to one fighter I don't know, he must place bets on them.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
6-4 Vazquez.
I have no problem with Killer's card (like I said I was distracted during the second and the fourth was close) but this is what annoys me about Teddy, he just zones in one fighter and ignores everything else. I can't remember if it was the seventh or the eight but Vazquez didn't land a single clean solid punch the whole round and Teddy went on and on about how great he was doing.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Than again I think I rebelled against Teddy & Joe by giving Prescott ALL the swing rounds

If Teddy placed bets on fights, he'd be broke going by his predictions.
I started watching in the 3rd round, but I though Vasquez won the fight pretty clearly (from what I saw).

So on your card Prescott wins becuause of the knockdown?
I missed a couple rounds cos I was in the kitchen cooking so didn't really watch it, just listened to Atlas

No I'll defend my scores, the only time I could say Prescott is fighting his fight was when they were in a clinch and he was attacking the body.
In my mind it was clearly Vazquez's choice of when and where they fought.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Maybe he does it cause he started out watching film on boxers for upcoming fights and was only looking at one guy?
Either way, that fight was Teddy in a nutshell.

;D;D....was actually going to break down the fare=Swedish complexion and Firm = Ideal tomato's but left it
Ohhh shite split dec :kar:Glad Vazquez got it.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
The right guy won. Fuck you Tessitore, you stole my line. I typed that out before he said it.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
How the hell did that judge give that kind of score to Prescott. :dontknow: :furious2:
I'll have to find out how much money Sergio won on the fight, because I'll bet anything that him and his friends put big money down on Vazquez.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
LOL, fuck off Teddy. Coming from one of the worst scorers in the history of boxing TV that's rich.
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
97-92 is bullshit, but I still think Prescott edged it 95-94. No problem Vazquez winning it though, although I was not impressed & thought he was missing a lot of the punches that Joe & Teddy were crediting him with
Teddy please shut the fuck up & slice your throat.

Lol, wasn't aimed at you, I was looking at the guys online saying Vazquez was mauling him, which was not the case although if I'd gone off Teddy's commentary I would have thought it was Calzaghe-Lacy II. I can see that argument, but I thought most of Vazquez' punches were slappy & not connecting and/or effective. I remember him getting one good left hook through the fight
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Well 97-92 Prescott is a bit crazy, I didn't realize that was the score. Still, fuck off Teddy ;D
-
Re: FNF 7/17/09 Prescott vs. Vazquez
Seriously. I think Teddy is getting old. His brain getting distorted for some reason. He's been providing terrible ring judgement lately.
