Should Sakio Bika remain rated at 168?
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...ddleweight.jpg
Should Sakio Bika (currently #7) remain rated at 168? He has not fought at this weight since the 13th of November ’08. His last fight was in the Light-heavyweight division.
Should he remain rated
Move to the 168 pool
Move to the 175 pool

Re: Should Daniel Santos remain in the pool at 154
It doesn't look like he has the legs to be competitive. He was basically a heavy bag for Foreman to practice his combos on.
-
Re: Should Daniel Santos remain in the pool at 154
He's done,just doesn't care any more.
-
Re: Should Sakio Bika remain rated at 168?
For now I think we should move him to the pool at 168 & see where he goes from here

How far should Mikkel Kessler drop?

How far should Mikkel Kessler (currently #1) drop? 1-3 spots?
Mikkel Kessler
1 spot to 2nd
2 spots to 3rd
3 spots to 4th
-
Re: How far should Mikkel Kessler drop?
2 spots, that was a bad defeat, normally I would say 3 but as there has beenn some aggravating factors like a few too many clinches and some bad headbutts that might have disturbed the performance, I consider a clement decision. 2 spots.
-
Re: How far should Mikkel Kessler drop?
I can't see Kessler being below Froch, it's hard enough Abraham being below. I don't think it was 3 spot drop performance.
-
Re: How far should Mikkel Kessler drop?
2 spots for me.. some may argue about Froch being higher placed than Kessler, but Froch is coming off two high profile wins, both title defenses, even if one was a robbery.. so has done much more in the last year than Kessler has.
-
Re: How far should Mikkel Kessler drop?
2 spots.
He'll get his chance to pass Froch in his next fight.

Should Paul Williams remain rated at 154?
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...ddleweight.jpg
Should Paul Williams (currently #1) remain rated at 154? He has not fought at 154 since his win over Verno Phillips on the 29th of November ’08. His last fight was at 160 & his upcoming bout with Martinez is also scheduled for middleweight.
Paul Williams

Re: Should Paul Williams remain rated at 154?
The second option should read, he should be removed (as he is also currently rated at 160)

Should Verno Phillips (currently #3) remain rated? He has not fought since losing to Paul Williams on the 29th of November ’08?
Verno Phillips

Re: Should Paul Williams remain rated at 154?
He should move to the pool. If he won't make 154 for the Martinez fight, then it suggests he can't make the weight any more to me. Drop him.
-
Re: Should Verno Phillips remain rated?
I say move him to the pool if he hasn't signed a fight by March we need to drop him altogether, because it will have been 2 years since he won.

I agree, he is rated at 160 & if he does return to 154 I don't think it would be against anyone other than a rated fighter. There's no need for him to be in the pool here imo

Should the Martirosyan-Ouma winner fill the #10 spot at Light-Middleweight?
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...ddleweight.jpg
Vanes has been doing a lot recently to be worthy of entry & I think this fight is more than deserving of entry. Granted Ouma hasn't been great of late, but all his losses since the Taylor fight have been close & controversial. If he beats a fight of Martirosyan's quality, he deserves to be back in the mix. Equally a win for Martirosyan is the proof that he's becoming a major player in the division & a title shot will surely be up next.
Anyway, your views?
-
Re: Should the Martirosyan-Ouma winner fill the #10 spot at Light-Middleweight?
Hell no. Vanes hasn't stepped up his comp level. And Ouma is just done
-
Re: Should the Martirosyan-Ouma winner fill the #10 spot at Light-Middleweight?
I said yes, because the division is full of part timers. It's not ideal, but we need bodies in there.
-
Re: Should the Martirosyan-Ouma winner fill the #10 spot at Light-Middleweight?
Personally I'd still...shocker...put Lopez well ahead of Vanes or a used up Ouma.Needs to fight at 154 again but I think rank is long overdue

Should Lyell remain in the pool following his 10th round TKO defeat to Sebastian Sylvester?
Billy Lyell

Re: Should Billy Lyell remain in pool at 160?
He is a defined gatekeeper, I think he should stay in the pool. If he doesn't win or fight again in the next 4 months then drop him.

Billy Lyell is removed from the pool
