Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Looks like the team Fraizer gimmie is going to prove just that as I finally get back to an even record this week. Late dash for the playoffs perhaps?

More than I've ever had and I've never seen anyone's kicker score that many. Luckily he's outscoring Chris Johnson at this point.

He still will, when Johnson is just getting 1-3 yard receptions.
Congrats on your win in advance. lol

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
I didn't realize what an odd score line your defense has. 35 points given up but they still have 11 points. :o

4 interceptions and 2 touchdowns help.
How the hell do you have Peterson, Mendenhall, Gates, Fitzgerald AND Foster?
Seriously that's 5 studs on your starting line.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
all the draft really. I decided to wait for a QB and take RB/WR's early and it worked even though the QB's went way faster than I thought they would and got stuck with shit. I manged to pick up Flacco on the waiver wire at least. Peterson, Mendenhall, and Fitzgerald were my first three picks. Foster was a later pick but I remembered watching him at the end of last year and he became the starter so I thought he could be a sleeper pick but I didn't think he'd be that good. I don't remember where I took Gates, 5th round or something like that probably.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
fwiw this may not be over. If Addai doesn't play. Foster shredded the Colts last time but they could easily get way behind early and just start passing every down.

Miami's offense can always get into field goal range but can't finish the drive with a TD. Think about how many field goals the Dolphins have scored the last couple of weeks. This guy is putting up points like a damn wide receiver.

I was looking at your roster too. Good Lord what a lineup! VD actually has a real sick receiver corp!

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
After the stupid lost of last week which I could have easily won if I would have put my 2 players on the field at the good moment, I am back in the win column. I hope Collie will get back healthy soon enough though but the rest of my team is quite consistantly giving me around 130 points a week except in exceptional circumstances.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
My starting QB got pulled yesterday...for Rex Grossman :p
At least I've got Flacco, his bye week is done, if he's just decent for the rest of the year I've got enough good players at the other positions. I've got the players to make a trade for an elite QB but I don't want to trade any of them. I could part with Fitzgerald I guess.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Watching some of the coverage of MNF and there was one thing that nearly made me choke on my sandwich...hopefully some of you Americans can clarify for me?
Randy Moss getting released after four games?!?!? I know he's not performed since arriving, but we've traded away draft picks for this guy, and he's always a downfield option, even at 70-80%, and always had two guys covering his routes, opening up other options. Childress has made some baffling calls this season, I'll be chuffed if the Vikes can pull it back to an 0.500 season from here.

2 reasons:
1) Randy may have been a primadona in the locker room.
2) THE MOST LIKELY ONE! Childress is trying to make a statement by first calling out Favre for his bad decision now taking Moss of his squad. I honestly think Childress' job is in danger cause of all this.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Oh hell, I forgot I was playing the mysterious Team Frazier. He's projected to score a whole 24 points. Kind of takes the fun out of it. Oh well, 8-1 :D

58-6 so early in the weekend....I only just got past them!

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
I dealt with some early adversity and have come back to take a 124-14 lead.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
If he wasn't getting such a big week from his two linebackers and his kicker it would be 124-0.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
The Cowboys need to make a game out of this or else Green Bay might sit the starters. I need Matthews and Jennings to score more points for the win this week! Happened with the Giants and they took Nicks out of the game!
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
50% of the league has a 4-5 record, 20% are 5-4, then we got a 6-3, this is quite a competitive league we have going here. With the exception of someone who only dropped his match up one week, we got a nail bitter!
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
The big problem with last week's lost = 2 of my top players injured, 2 of my top other BYE and 2 of my best on the field (Manning and Johnson) scoring each a terrible 8 points.... So on my 3 lost, one came via me idiot not fielding 2 players, second one with a 7 players bye and this week which has been rubber shit. Addai and Collie better come back healthy and soon.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
What a dismal week. My low point total for the year by a good bit.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
The Skins are getting slapped up right now! I need Vick to get me 50 points for the win...

He's trying

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010

This is a routing, Washington is pushing back but that's a long road to tread.

Addai and COllie are out, no touchdown for neither Megatron or Manning (WTF), Frank Gore is off this week, my team that was so well oiled is quite leaking at the moment...

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
pretty disgusted that I left 30 something points on the bench and didn't pull the trigger to dump Palmer for Garrard
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
My team is coming apart at the seams
Antonio Gates, could you please get healthy at some point? Thanks.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
I just got back home from the Jets game. What a time to be there live!!!

It was awesome, but was it a full house there? When Homes caught the ball in the corner and was running up to the stand in that corner, it looked like there was only half the seats sold there? Houston's secondary was absolutely shocking though.

The stadium was packed!! When Sanchez got picked with about 2 minutes left, the stadium cleared out. Only about half the crowd stayed. When the Jets got the ball back, the giant screens showed footage of all the people standing outside who left their seats watching from the entrance of the stadium. It was epic! I hope everyone who left feels like shit!! It was quite a moment to see live...

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
I may win this game because of an Eli Manning fumble. Down one point and Eli comes through. Thanks Eli.
Now Philly don't score, somehow run the clock out. And if you're going to score do not have it be a Desean Jackson TD and then do not give up some garbage time points to the Giants.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
OK, so I need a 40 point plus game from Orton to have a look at winning this week, that's not too much to ask right?!
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Fairly good week, 135 points, would have been better if COllie wouldn't have been out of the game after the first quarter (especially because he already had a couple of points by then) but my opponent has 132 and his QB didn't play yet, sounds like except for a miracle, this one will slip through my fingers.

You need to be hoping Rivers gets hurt on the first play.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Happy Thanksgiving guys... I'm feeling a lot like the vikes at the moment. I need some massive games to make the playoffs, come on Brady.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
let's go, Shaun Hill, let's go
that's right bitches I'm starting Shaun Hill (not sure if that means I've given up on the season subconsciously)
