Looks like he is struggling at the wieght Bellew I thought there wasnt the usual snap in his punches.

His chin looks shocking at 175.

Props to Bellew for the way he came back from the early setbacks, and he probably had come back and made it competitive, but the ref thrust himself into centre stage with that stoppage. It doesn't only ruin it for Ovill, who was competitve throughout, but had been shipping big shots in rounds 6 & 7 as well, but it robs Bellew of getting to finish McKenzie off properly and will leave a bit of a stain on the victory.

Sky are saying the fight will be underway for 3am? That is very early for Vegas surely to early they usually don't start till 5am.

Yeah, that does seem a bit early.

I would guess sometime about 3:30 to 4:00 your time. The card starts in about 15 minutes here and there's the one undercard fight. I would guess Ortiz-Peterson would go rounds but you never know.

Well just said now that the Ortiz fight is first up at around 02:40 UK...if that goes the full 10, plus another 30 minutes build up I'd say it's about 4ish. Glad I'm not on my usual 8am start at work tomorrow.

Well, this could be solid. I always liked Lamont Peterson.

Lamont looks like he's gonna get knocked out by a left hand. And he's started the "ha" thing early.

I'm not sure if it's the "ha" or Carl Froch's missus bellowing at ringside would be more distracting if I was fighting. Peterson is doing well so far though.

Rounds one and two were feeling out round for both fighters with Ortiz being the aggressor not to many punches being thrown.

I am on fire with my jinxing skills so far tonight. Macklin, Cleverly and now Peterson all get the magic of having me praise them.

Ortiz knocks down Peterson three punch combo but he wasn't really hurt then again they both go down tangle up. Ref counting Peterson, fell into the ropes.

It's a pretty eve fight so far, but Peterson is behind with those two knock down in the 3rd. Ortiz took control beginning of the 4th but Peterson scored well. Round could have gone either way.

The problem is Peterson's never had much power so its hard to pull something out of nowhere, and Ortiz looks big and strong and seems to hurt him most times he lands clean.

Round 5, Peterson and Ortiz fighting more on the inside, Peterson getting more solid shot in by the end of the round they were back to fighting on the outside not doing much. Good round for Peterson

Round 6 they are back to outside boxing again. Peterson may have hurt his right hand. with a good shot to Ortiz face and he shook his hand. Peterson won that round.

Round 7 it's back to outside boxing again. This time they are pretty even. Tough round to score because not too many punches thrown and they landed about the same.

Round 8 was the best of the fight both fighters landing bombs, Peterson ends the round with three power shots to take the round.

Fuck, I like Peterson. His legs go to shit everytime he gets hit hard but he is willing to bang and he finally hurt Ortiz there.

Round 9 Peterson turns into a puncher, Ortiz is loosing his effectiveness. Easy round for Peterson

Peterson really has come back into this, I actually think it's going to be very close, but Peterson has a chance of taking it even though he's been down. A very good appetiser for the Khan fight, whoever wins.

Ortiz will get the decision. Hard to come back from a 10-7 round in a 10 round fight. Peterson needed the last two rounds but I had Ortiz winning them both.

Round 10 they were back to fighting inside Ortiz takes the beginning of the round with Peterson coming back in the middle part of the round but Ortiz comes back to win the round. Tough fight to score. Ortiz should pull it out.
