This is the kind of fight-fighters largely overlooked at years ends when the category "best fight" etc come up
Proud to be a fan tonight. One where I really don't 'care' who wins or bother scoring

Great effort by both guys. I was enjoying the fight so much, that I didn't even think about trying to score it.
Well that's what Martillo brings, heart for years. I'd like to see him go back down to middleweight though.
Well the oddsmakers were pretty dead on for this fight
Gonzales -140
Sierra +120
speaking of Haye. His trainer said that Haye felt a Wlad right hand in the 6th round that changed things. I think his point was entirely correct (though the round was off-I think Haye felt 2 good right hands in the 5th round from Wlad-both landed pretty good but not perfect).
Haye felt them and he decided getting jabbed was a better idea than trying to turn it up and getting hit perfect with the right hand.
Haye had a choice in the ring and he was unwilling to continue to make the attempt to try to beat Wlad (short of wild homerun shots that were too rare). He was like every other Wlad opponent. That jab is hard. I'll keep fighting him. That right hand hurts like all hell. I'd rather get jabbed!!!!!
Night folks, see you tomorrow night during the HBO & Showtime fights. ;)
Thanks all, g'night!
