Hard fought last round very hard to split it but like Prograis accurate work although Josh pushed it.

Obviously as others have said, the one card was ridiculously wide. Prograis seemed to dictate the boxing better while Taylor was much flashier and landed the sharper punches

Insanely high level fight we don't get to see this shit often. Glad I didnt have to be a judge for that shit , draw with a rematch would have been just fine by me but let em do it down the road cause that was a grueling fight for both.
Class work by both guys. To work every minute of every round at such a pace is rare, to do so with such accuracy and venom is rarer still. Thought Taylor edged it and deserved the nod, not just because he landed more solid, clean, hurtful shots, but because those were much more obvious and easier for the judges to score.
This is true Taylor did land the more eye catching clean work and I do think prograis left more in the tank by the end and might kick himself for thatQuote:

I'll rewatch in a day or two but on first viewing I thought Taylor edged it.
Problem Prograis has is that he stays in 1 gear every fight. I always thought he'd have trouble at the elite level because of that, especially when faced with a bigger, more dynamic and quicker boxer. He looked close to getting stopped a few times. Better skills were displayed by Regis but bigger heart by Taylor. In the end heart won out,but barely. Also Regis loses his shape when he get's tired. Josh didn't really. So Josh gave the impression that he was in control which is very important for the judges
Some morons in youtube comments and other forums are as usual saying "Robbery" It was a close fight and neither man could complain too badly about not getting the decision. But I'd find it hard to give Prograis 7 rounds but certainly wouldn't have been crying "Robbery" if the judges had thought differently.
As for Taylor. Good fighter. But if he moves up as he says he is. Is he ready Bud - Spence - PacMan - Thurman ?

So as long as Ramirez gets past Postol, there should be a unification. Both Ramirez and Taylor have shown to fight anybody. I don’t see any reason really that this fight wouldn’t happen. Also, I would love Taylor to fight MIkey Garcia. That would be another great fight.

American Ryan Martin has been suspended for four years over a failed drugs test following a bout against Scotland's Josh Taylor in Glasgow.
The 26-year-old tested positive for metabolites of testosterone after the fight on 3 November, 2018.
UK Anti-Doping said Martin's suspension begins from the date of that fight. Martin claimed the banned substance had been contained within a supplement.
Taylor won the super-lightweight fight, Martin's first loss in 23 bouts.
Last month Taylor secured the IBF, WBA and Ring Magazine world super-lightweight titles with victory over Regis Prograis in London.
