he's very one dimensional. And had better stay away from Montiel. Other then that he's entertaining ;D
I don't see anything one dimensional about him.
He switches up, he can hook, jab, upper, combo, variate...blah blah blah.
I do agree with you that he does come forward & take a lot of shots to thus...overwhelm the man in front of him...but I surely don't see him as one dimensional.
Not at all. I've seen him in some pickles & work his way out with smarts & not just brawn.
Not saying he's unbeatable...just saying that he's not one dimensional.

similar to Lacy ;) he comes forward and takes shots. When he faces someone that can move out of the way he'll be at a loss, he will want to war but with an opponent that moves and holds he will be frustrated and beaten.

Nope. Not similar to Lacy.
Lacy has no defense. Sure Lacy can take shots...but he has no jab or D...surely you see the difference there?
Re: Just another one of Wacko's Drunken Round by Rounds : Arce vs Makepula
Arce compared to lacy, another typical starr comment, your on form tonight bitch, and here's another englishman who shouldn't be up. 5:42am the vodka is still flowing i'm fucked up but hell, i love it. Watchin UFC Hughes just fucked BJ Penn up big stylee, Penn was up 2 rounds then gased and that was that.

Yep. Rewatch the Alvarez fight & the first Hussein fight. Although he got bloodied...he still showed his abilities. Arce also uses a jab fairly well for a brawler of his size.
Having defense & being a defensive master are two different things...one of which I mentioned is not the other. He does have defensive abilities...Lacy on the other hand...either does not...or has no knowledge of how to use them.

I see your 5.42 am, and I raise you to 7am, with most of that bottle of whisky gone, and nothing more than Radio 5 Live's breakfast show on. Talking bout politics or summat.
A reraise by yourself dan?
Re: Just another one of Wacko's Drunken Round by Rounds : Arce vs Makepula
Arce's a complete fighter who shows his aggresive side over his boxing ability because that's how you blow out opponents in 4 rounds at will.
Jorge Arce is the best flyweight in the world. HBO criticized him tonight for taking on second tier fighters.
Get Vic over here right now. Not only will El Travieso walk away with a knockout, but the local sancioning body will allow him to ride a horse out of the ring
Re: Just another one of Wacko's Drunken Round by Rounds : Arce vs Makepula
Starr, you have this uncanny ability to criticise fighters who are very good simply because of a personal vendetta, rather than looking at them unbiasedly and then defending fighters who can have no defence in certain situations(ie Zab gave PBF his toughest test,Raheem was robbed by Freitas etc etc I could go on all day!). You should watch Arce more carefully, had he not had a decent defence,he would have been knocked out already because most of the guys he has fought have KO power but he has great defence on th inside, good jab,can use lateral movement, works head and body
Re: Just another one of Wacko's Drunken Round by Rounds : Arce vs Makepula
Just got in to 'view' the fight coz the local tv didn't show the fight. It seemed like a mismatch there. Nice work as usualy Wacko, you ought to be charging us on a pay per click basis. If you need a manager, just ask me and don't forget the sucker's fee, that's around 30%. ;D

You haven't seen Arce Carbajal were he was boxing well, nice lateral movement and jab.
You know I can't go by 5 years ago right now since from what I've seen he comes forward to get hit and then overwhelms the opponent. That will get him beat
It will get him beat? Are you serious? Now I know what people say about you and lying and making things up?
Your saying it will get him beat but he hasn't lost since 1999? Somethings not adding up here in your comment ???
