I've definitely questioned it. I once held similiar opinions to yours. I think you are blaming God for what should be blamed on the devil. Did you realize names have meanings? Satan means deceiver, or liar. The devil is referenced by several different names in the Bible and each one has a significant meaning. Mainly- liar, deciever, ensnarer, murderer, theif.
By the way it is very debatable whether life is being extended. According to the Bible pre flood humans lived to be 900+ years. God set the limit of 120 years after the flood and there are reports of many people in ancient times living 100+ years. Right now we are averaging 70. Is that higher or lower than 900?

Just like the queen and that is today, they will do anything to make them survive. Ramses the great is also supposedly the pharaoh moses told to free his people but i dont believe there is any record of Ramses witnessing or making any mention of it or seeing a guy split a sea in half. If you want to believe in god then why is it that all religion is not the same? If it was certain there was so much evidence pointing to a god then wouldnt everyone believe in it? Instead you got a whole lot of different religions and people like the egyptians believed in way more then one. I believe they had a god for everything and different levels of gods eg state gods, national, local...kind of thing, kind of like government really.
First the guy the Bible says walked on water and cured blind people claims to be the creator of the universe that left heaven to live as a man. That would definitely be why you don't see that today. Now whether you believe that is true is a different matter, but the claim is that God Himself did those things.
Many people we can prove from history have lived to be 100+ years. There hasn't been any improvement in our lifespans. Actually now a days people are heavily medicated by the time they get to 60 if they go see doctors regularly.
Again every society of humans throughout history believed in a God or gods. That should support the existence of a God. Even in remote tribes in the jungle, they believe in some form of God. Now the reason for multiple gods, is that there are many creatures that are higher than men. There are angels, demons, and other spirits that interact with humans and men worship them. Everyone believes in a God until they are trained not too.
I don't see how the ignorance of other primitive cultures supports existence of god - just existence of primitive cultures

Well you didn't answer my 2 questions, but here goes.
I define God as the originator of all things. Everything that we see and don't see was made by the creator. That's my definition for this discussion. Facts to support the existence of a creator are everything that you see in your daily life. Highly complex, self repairing, self replicating life forms. You don't believe that the computer your typing on sprang into existence by random chance, why would you think humans did when they are literally hundreds of times more complex than your computer?

It's important that you know yourself, these are just ideas you believe strongly in (which is fine) not actual facts. So it's useless to keep drilling us with the 'idea' that we're all connected, when in reality the only thing that connects us is the internet that WE created :)

Ive just returned back here after a lovely 10 days back home. The amount of time I wasted watching crap daytime TV was just fantastic. And I actually understood what the feck they were talking about. They were talking rubbish half the time, but being able to understand the television is an absolute delight!! ;D

Seriously though, I really am not uptight about this stuff. I couldn't agree with you more that we are human and don't know shit. It's why I don't believe everything that is presented as "SCIENCE". I think I have stated a few times that I have faith that the Bible is true, not evidence. I also think the only evidence I have claimed to have is that evolution is NOT true. I have never said you should believe my story, but don't think that evolution is fact based, cause it's not. Most people have commented about what I believe without presenting there own beliefs.
