And want to see Forrest get ktfo right now. He said he was backing Quartey up and that he wore Ike down?

Agreed. I don't think Baldo's gonna be the one to beat Floyd...but if anyone is going to do it...I'd want it to be him.
The guy has defied all odds & come from nothing to be something...that's impressive. He's the most deserving one out there & for some reason...the gent just comes off as one hell of a nice chap.
What can I say...he's grown on me. I'd still rather see my guy win though.

Agreed...I think that Hatton got a gift.
Disagree about the weight class issue with Floyd. Floyd hasn't fought a legit 147'er. Judah had only fought at 147 for 5 or 6 fights if memory serves & Mitchell had only fought once at 147...again...if memory serves right.

Not sure about Floyd blazing Collazo either. The guy can box & he's tuff. That would be a good fight.

Agreed. Completely weak. I don't consider a man down until his ass or his back is on the mat.

Agreed.

Agreed...yet again.
I think that my guy is a bit cocky...too brash & what not...qualities that I hate...but Floyd is one hell of a fighter & in the end...that's what counts.
I hate on James Toney severley...but I have no issues in admitting that he's an amazing tactical boxer...anyone who refuses to acknowledge the same about Floyd is either blind...or just stupid.
I'd urge some of you people to watch Hatton vs Collazo round by round, and scoring them individually, It seems on that night Collazo won the 'fight' but Hatton won the rounds! Don't get me wrong, it was extremely close, but the decision was unanimous for a reason. My scorecard matched 2 of the 3 judges exactly, its not a hard fight to score. But Hatton was being handled, in either the 5th or 6th (can't quite remember) Hatton barely landed a glove. But we score on 10 point scoring system, and overall Hatton's strategy palyed out, other than an extremely careless 12th that nearly cost him the fight. This has relevance on this thread because of all the talk by Floyd saying Hatton doesn't want the fight. Hmmm.... The 2 guys touted to be the men to actually have a realistic chance of beating him (the other being margarito) and Floyd wants to fight neither of them. It makes me sad, I wish Floyd wasn't all about 'business' for 2 fights of his career and we actually got to see how good he was, if he really was an all time great. At this rate I'm going to remember him for his mouth first. :(

You know I loves ya...but let me ask you this (I know you love Hatton & all that): is beating Collazo & Kostya more to remember than beating Sosa, Chavez, Castillo, Gatti, Corrales, & Judah?
That's only to name a few.
Again...not trying to be a smart ass...but I hate for people to rip on Floyd & up Hatton.
Re: Just Another One of Wacko's Drunken Round by Rounds: Mayweather vs Baldomir

and who keeps sad clicking me ???
Re: Just Another One of Wacko's Drunken Round by Rounds: Mayweather vs Baldomir
My Questions:
#1: Can Floyd continue to rise up with repeated success?
Depends who his opponents are... I wouldn't say he is taking the safest route, but at the same time he hasn't exactly taken the toughest route either.

well if PBF wants to really make it crystal clear he is indeed the best pound for pound right now he needs to fight: Toney, Ricky Hatton, Oscar, then no one can possibly hate on him. im a huge fan of his but if he fights other people then the ones mentioned in 2007 id be disapointed.

Once you start caring about stuff like that mate....then you start to get paranoid. Do NOT chase them down with a hunting rifle and a bottle of bourbon. That is not a good plan. ;) Chin up, and have a cc to soothe it better.

The most popular was Hatton v Collazo with 438 posts....some way to go yet eh? On the home screen, there's some things at the bottom, and if you click on more stats, it'll show ya all the things like most popular threads etc.

I know you ain't being a smart ass, it's cool, and there's no doubt that mayweather has earned his reputation, the list of guys he has beat is impressive, Hatton hasn't beaten as many quality guys, I'd just love it if he was more down to business, and I'm getting impatient with him saying he'll never fight Hatton, I begin to worry the fight will never happen, and I don't think it's ricky who doesn't want it. Your right I do love Hatton more than anyone today because he relates to us brits, but I love watching fights where there's no favourite, between 2 possible future greats in their prime that haven't crossed paths. Hagler v Hearns, Tyson v Holyfield, Ali v Frazier, Leonard v Duran, Hatton v Mayweather you know, they're in the same league.
