Some people go for the big points no matter what. All season long they they will pick such-n-suck KO 5 or so-and-so KO 8. Using that strategy they are bound to hit four or five big point wins for 150 points under the new rules. Sure, under the old rules it would have been 250, but it doesn't matter to the shotgun wielders because they will play that way regardless. Now, a strategic player who finds himself behind during the stretch will have to win twice as many jackpots to overtake the blind luck man whose been on a streak.

I think the point deduction was meant to discourage "scattergun" play and I for one thought it would work. It didn't and may make catching them even harder.

I understand this POV can be easily debated.

Blimey! Thats a funny way of looking at it.

The point deductions were to stop HUGE voids opening up between top, middle and bottom therefore keeping more people in the comp, more people in contention and making the thing more enjoyable....at the moment the leaderboard looks pretty tight to me ;)

If a blind luck man goes on a streak that leaves the rest of the pack in his wake then you have to hold your hands up and entertain the idea that they are better than you, not just lucky ;D

Stayed the same. That was a tough week...lost my joker and star fight by picking Audley and Anderson.

i dont think its been updated yet look it says the week ending the 11th feb but the week just gone ended on the 18th feb
