Have you watched the Corrales fight? Floyd was up on his toes and circling the entire time, not that much different than how he fights now. He didn't stand flat-footed and trade with Corrales.
The only major difference is that Baldomir has a much more sturdy chin than Corrales.

I think Floyd wobbled a bit more alarmingly tbh. He wasn't close to being stopped thats why i said a better finisher would have taken advantage. Corley did everything wrong when he hurt him. He stood basically on him winging wild hooks that all landed on Floyd's arms.
Even tho Hatton says in his autobiography that he wasn't as hurt in the 12th as he looked, (He was more hurt earlier on actually) its irrelevant to this topic as nobody is claiming Hatton to be the greatest of all time. He's a million miles from that.
All i'm saying is if he gets in that sort of trouble again with a De La Hoya or a Cotto, he might not be let of the hook as easily.

Yeh that is my point. Torres definately let Cotto off the hook. He didn't really pick his shots he threw everything and gassed out.
Basically if he gets hurt against bigger guys such as Cotto or De La Hoya i don't expect him to battle through and turn the fight around like he did against Corley. Kudos to him for doing that and maybe he will prove me wrong.

It's obvious your dumb ass never boxed before. You get in the ring, your going to get hit. It's part of the game. It doesn't mean your close to getting knocked every time you get hit. Mayweather took a solid shot from Corley and took a step back. He didn't wobble and wasn't hurt. Floyd let Corley wing a couple of punches, tend proceeded to fire back and hurt Corley. Mayweather was never close to being stopped. To say so is just plain stupid. But considering the poster, I shouldn't be surprise.

Was undefeated and had many a knock outs. Went to war and Cotto stood toe to toe risking it all and throwing caution to the wind. Great fight and Torres was destroyed in 7. Sure cotto was on the ground but what was the end result? ;) Did I mention this was a great fight?
