well the quote i found was:
"I thought Oscar won the fight on points, threw more punches and was more aggressive," said Floyd Mayweather Sr., who used to train De La Hoya. "My son had good defense and caught a lot of his punches, but I still thought Oscar pressed enough to win the fight."
[/quote]
Oscar threw and missed alot of punches. The punch stats say it all. 43 percent landing for Floyd and 21 percent for Oscar. That is almost a mismatch on paper.. Hearns and Leonard fought in 1989 and Hearns landed 40 percent and Ray landed 36 percent I think.

Unfortunately word is we wont be seeing much from him in the near future or if ever. Word has it shortly after the fight on Saturday he gave Delahoya an old classic musketball pistol dated 1305 and then got on a space ship to travel back to his home planet. Rumor had it if Floyd had lost, Floyd Sr. (Pr.) had a self destruct mechanism on his arm with a small nuclear device ready to blow everything up. Luckily that didnt happen.
