First round wasn't a tie Floyd clearly won it thats why everyone else on this thread scored it for Mayweather because it was clearly his round.
CLEARLY?  I think NOT!  The rounds Floyd CLEARLY won were 9, 10, 11.  I'll watch round one more carefully though...still " CLEARLY " is exaggerated.
No it isn't all commentators had him winning it Ledderman had him winning it even people who thought Oscar won had Mayweather winning it.
I don't see how you had it a tie it was Mayweathers round no debate needed it was his round for certain.
I scored that round for Mayweather, but after scoring the Oscar's fights with Tito and Mosley (2nd) for the Golden Boy, I deliberately showed a little bias to Floyd, that round was dead, very little in it, if I was to watch it again, I might well score it even.
It wasn't even there was 9 shots landed for Floyd and 4 for Oscar even though its not many punches it was still clearly Mayweathers round.

Also you cant score a fight probolly off the TV.Being at ringside for a fight is totaly different than watching on the box.
Glad it was a good fight and a good night for boxing. ;D

yes and no, it's sometimes harder to tell the effect punches have from the tv but the advantages are the better angles and replays you get.

And you can score a fight on tele you have better view on tele because you get better close up and replays at ringside you can hear punches better and atmosphere is fantastic ect but for you to say you can't score fight properly on tele is incorrect imo.
Re: How did you score the fight??? (Post your scorecard)
To score a fight propoly you need to be there IMO.
Boxing is not a sport of gadgets and gizmos, and that goes for the scoring as well.Thats why the judges are ringside not eles where.
If you want gadgets and gizmos watch American football.

That's almost keeping tradition for the sake of keeping tradition though.
What about a combination of the two?
I can't remember which fight, but I think it was Lampley or Merchant who was talking about the idea of judges having monitors beside them as they score a fight.
During brief moments where their vision may be obstructed, for example by a referee, they can take a quick glance down over to the monitor. And look back up to the action again once their line of vision isn't impaired.
