Mayweather is the Number One guy in the sport at the moment and Hatton will have to move up to 147 to fight him, I'm sure the Fatboy himself knows that and might just tell dad to shut the F...k up!

Those facts are that after the Castillo fight Hatton said on camera that Floyd is the fight he wants. He has repeated it today on film.
End of story.
If there is something I am missing please enlighten me.
Come ring time their both basically the same weight. So Floyd say Yes and get it on.
This crap is the same as last HBO saying "We need another fight Ricky to build it"
Ain't America ready for there boy to get beat.
This is gonna be like Lloyd beating the fuck into P4P Donald Curry and Floyd ain't no Curry even his dreams.
Couldn't said it better than myselfQuote:

Anybody who calls a man that stepped into a ring with Kostya Tszyu a coward is just plain crazy.
I wouldn't...unless I just felt like getting knocked on my ass ;D
I would never use the word coward or scared to describe any fighter. Boxing is a business & guys make what they think is the best business decision for their careers.
" That's what peees me off about giving some interviews, the words you say can be taken completely out of context.
Floyd has made no secret of the fact that he wants to fight at 147lbs, we have already accepted the fight from our end, and we will fight him anywhere in America, Central Park in a telephone box if we have to. We will say this now, and we hope that people understand what we are saying. Ricky Hatton will be fighting at welterweight, but Ricky will come into the fight as a light-welterweight because thats his best fighting weight, and we dont want to compromise his speed. The ball now lies in Mayweather's court, if he wants the fight, we are ready. "
"And a little footnote, does anybody realise Ricky Hatton came in half a stone lighter against Castillo than he ever has ? He usually comes in between 154 to 156lbs, Ricky came in at 149lbs, and thats his weight from now on. At one stage during training Ricky was at 9 stone 13. This was due to the fact he only had 8 weeks out of the gym after the Urango fight, and instead of having to spend the first four weeks cutting weight, he started straight on the weights, and we all saw the results."
"The Collazo fight was a disaster on all counts, we all got it very wrong, it was a suicidal move, that we all hold our hands up to, and something we have learnt alot from. We put the weight on in the wrong way, we had a very turbulent and short training camp, and Ricky won that fight on heart. "
" Ricky is flying out to Tenerife with his girlfriend to meet up with Jamie Moore and his family, then he is off to Barcelona or Marbella for a short break, then he will be back in the gym for 3 days a week to tick over. He will start full training in the first week of August for a fight in November or early December. He will look even sharper and stronger again as he will only have had 8 weeks out of the gym as he did after Urango. " concluded Ray.
This can be viewed in 2 ways,he is either making excuses for not fighting Floyd OR he is just pushing to see how willing Floyd is to take the fight, trying to maximise his chances of winning by making Floyd lose more weight, come down to the lowest weight possible.
I'm not sure which it is and no-one here can say conclusively until we hear Floyd's response and Hatton's reaction to the response.
:coolclick: you are right Sal I was probably in an angry mood when I wrote that, I think I had run out of teabags or something!Quote:

I still think he'll get owned but at 43 and 0 he's a legitimate contender.

Lets lay out some facts...And while reading this keep in mind I am one of Floyds bigest detractors...don't believe me search the boards and you will see I give him little credit unless forced to
With that being said.....
Floyd never sought out Hatton....As Floyd moved up in weight Hatton Moved back down.....
Floyd Started at SFW...Hatton started at 140 and never went higher then 147....
Floyd has flourished and won the title at 154...To my disapointment I thought the weight would be too much and he would finally get starched but I was wrong ( this is why I spend my days with KillerSheeps sports book hanging on by a thread my predictions suck...Need to bet with mind not heart but that is another story)
Hatton went to 147 won a title and did so with difficulty...In fact 147 was such a problem he went down to 140 again...Now mind you this is a guy who balloons up to 170-180 when not training so 147 should in all reality be more comfortable for him
Floyd retired... ::** (We all know how that works in boxing)...........HATTON CALLED OUT FLOYD FLOYD DID NOT CALL OUT HATTON!!!!!....HATTON STATED CLEARLY HE WANTED FLOYD NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND....HATTON STATED HE SHOWED MORE EXCITEMENT IN HIS BOUT WITH CASTILLO THE FLOYD IN HIS WHOLE CAREER......
Now that Floyd took the bait Hatton is going to state he needs it to be at 140 or no fight BULLSHIT....
That is like Hopkins Calling out Klitschko but then saying he wants the fight at 175....give it a rest already.....Either argue a valid point or don't argue at all...
This America UK crap doesn't fly around here...When someone can not come up with something legit why is it they always use stuff like that as a last resort
Here we go again with stupid accusations of ducking..Quote:
