Well that was my first time seeing Fig fight, he seemed okay, but I would like to see him against a better quality opponent before I really judge his abilities.
Rodriguez didn't use his height advantage, he didn't jab, he didn't have good balance, and was just plain sloppy imo, although I have to give him credit for going the distance, after seeing the first round, I didn't give him much of a chance of surviving.
This was my first time seeing Figeroa as well, but I was rather impressed, even though it was against lower opposition, he still showed amazing reflexs, perfect distance judgement and found every hole available in Rodriguez's defense. With all the skill I saw, I would have a hard time picturing anyone have an easy time with him at 140. Not saying that he is unbeatable by any stretch, but still very impressed.Quote:
