I don't think any top heavyweight who fought before the 50s could beat any top heavyweight who fought 70s and onward. The evolution of styles really took off in the mid 20th century and most fighters from Louis' era were just too one dimensional to compete.

Exactly, you cant compare fighters head to head from different times because boxing has changed so much
