They should never have had the tax breaks that they have had in the first place. Mr Bush financed the tax cuts to the wealthy by issuing government bonds and running the country into a huge deficit. This will just help correct the situation, sure the economy needs expansionary policy in times of depression. But expansionary policy didn't stop it from going into one, both fiscal and monetary policy in America seems to be going fucking sideways. Drastic things need to happen in the country, not to mention the fed reserve needs to build some credibility and some public agenda's to keep the confidence levels from plunging.Quote:

I've had enough of people bashing George W. Bush.....being tired of the President after 8 years is the NORM and not the exception. Look at when Clinton was on the way out, lots of people didn't like him and they were tired of his antics and I am sure Obama will find out that he won't always get a free pass just because he's black and he can spout off nonsensical bull crap about hope and change.
George W. Bush wasn't a great President but he wasn't the worst either and I say that seriously. He did what he thought was right at the time looking back it doesn't seem like a great idea but other Presidents have done worse: Bay of Pigs, Gulf of Tonkin, Somalia, the USS Cole, the Maine, Whiskey Rebellion, Internment camps for the Japanese.....etc etc etc.
