Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
speaking as a hobbyist. I have considered the fact that yes boxing is dangerous, any blow to the head could kill me. But you don't REALLY think about it. If you thought about the risks you wouldn't get behind the wheel of a car, so in that respect I agree. I hold no personal grudge against anyone I train with but it's different in the ring, you hit me I want to hurt you bad. All that stops when the buzzer stops. It's like flicking a switch. Some people find that easier to do than others.
For most women involved in combat sports, unless you're some rough arse council estate/trailor park scratter, unlearning the mental conditioning of 'girls don't fight', takes some time to overcome. Of course dealing with that genie when it's loose is your problem.
I consider myself nice, doesn't mean I won't punch you in the face. Nice has nothing to do with it.
I'm rambling, I'll shut up now;D

Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
Does the boogeyman actually exist? I think he's imaginary, not sure though?
Anyway.. whats that got to do with you wanting your wife to be a killer or get killed?
Does your wife know you're happy for her to be killed?

Do you think Andre Waters family was happy when he committed suicide over repeated concussion syndrome? Do you think Chris Benoits family was happy that he did a murder suicide over repeated concussion syndrome? Or both Lyndros brothers having to retire over it? How about Joe Theismans family when they got to see Daddy have a compound leg fracture on national TV. Or Stingley's family when they got to see him crippled for life by Jack Tatum on national TV,or Frank Giffords family after Chuck Bednarik almost killed him.Or Dale Earnhardts family when he died right on the track.
Its sports,if your scared,get a dog

That's what they told Michael Vick. :-\
I tend to think Benoit was more messed on the roids and had the rage plus was just a coward who couldn't manage his jealousy.
Hardly think concussions drove him to murder his family.

After the double-murder suicide, former wrestler Chris Nowinski contacted Michael Benoit, father of Chris Benoit, suggesting that years of trauma to his son's brain may have led to his actions. Tests were conducted on Benoit's brain by Julian Bailes, the head of neurosurgery at West Virginia University, and results showed that "Benoit's brain was so severely damaged it resembled the brain of an 85-year-old Alzheimer's patient."[118] He was reported to have had an advanced form of dementia, similar to the brains of four retired NFL players who had suffered multiple concussions, sank into depression and harmed themselves or others. Bailes and his colleagues concluded that repeated concussions can lead to dementia, which can contribute to severe behavioral problems.[119] Benoit's father suggests that brain damage may have been the leading cause of the crime.[120] He also confirmed that his son was quietly cremated, but what was done with the ashes is not public knowledge.[121]
Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
Lots of people get concussions, and lots of people have dementia. They don't all murder their families. Total bullshit assumption to explain the cowardly act of murdering his family. But this comes as no shock to me that you'd believe it.
I could dig up about 10 thousand articles regarding benoit that attribute it to the roids, and others to him simply being a coward who took the easy way out when troubles became overwhelming for him in his family life.
I swear you go off on the most ridiculous tangents. And for the record, I thnk it is pretty classless too to talk about killing an opponent. Geezus fuk, what is wrong with you. You don't know it was the opposition posting that. Could easily have been someone from this site with an alias, or one of the idiots from ESB.

His brain was completely broken, how else would you explain that type of action.
Some people shouldnt allowed to get bored?
And I could care less about ESB
And the post came immediately after we signed the contract, like within hours.
And I dont post on ESB,so how would they even know about the fight?
I think it was a pretty safe guess on my part

This thread is crazy.. I mean, TM, i'm not surprised with your posts. You're like a lawyer. And by that i mean, you must be the smartest person in the room, or at least ALWAYS right, regardless of what side you are on. You always make a huge case for your opinion, and back it up post after post with stuff that may/may not make sense, all while not really paying attention to what others are posting.
I think it's clear to say that you have crossed the line by saying you want someone to be in a body bag.
You can say all you want, use whatever metaphor you want about how if you're afraid of getting hurt in sports, get a dog.
I've been an athlete my whole life. I'm the most competitive person i know, whether it be sports, a game, work etc.. but i've always had perspective, and at the least, sportsmanship. I've trash talked, and been beaten and then shook hands after the game. I've also trash talked and won and shook hands after the game. If you're part of a sport where at any point you even say you're going to kill someone, then you're part of it for the wrong reason.
I respect your position as a trainer/promoter whatever you are, but this does not look good for you. If someone wants to kill someone, join the armed forces. There are plenty of worse people out there that deserve to be killed besides someone who trash talks on an internet forum.
And not that i even really care about the fight, but isn't your wife 0-2 or 0-3 all by KO/TKO? I'm sure she's a hell of a fighter and all, but if i were you i'd take the high road and laugh in the face of someone who is talking trash and be a sportsman and look the other way. Let her fists do the talking in the ring.

So let me get this straight... you're happy if your wife gets killed because Andre Waters commited suicide after repeated concussions, Chris Benoit killed his family, then himself because of concussions, the Lyndros brothers retired over concussions, Joe Theismans busted his leg, Stingley got crippled by Jack Tatum on TV, Frank Giffords almost got killed by Chuck Bednarik and Dale Earnhardts died on the track.. is that right?

If you dont want to play the game, dont play the game
There are risks involved, inherently
Nobody put a gun to her head and said,"Be a boxer,or else"
You want to be a boxer, you should know allready that the other person intends to hurt you,if you dont, you are going to get hurt.
If she goes down like a warrior, its something we both accept,we know the buiz we're in.And if we cant get our heads around it,we should take up knitting or something.
Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
So Beniot killed his family and himself because he took too many hits in the head? How many stoppage losses does your wife have again?
TM I dont expect to get anyware with this, you clearly have a screw loose.
