Muslim and Pakistani is what I beleive as to why he garners so much hatred. Another poster from England mentioned awhile ago (can't recall the thread) that he was at his local bar where Khan was fighting and he was caught by surprise by the amount of racial obcenities towards Khan...and this was IN ENGLAND. The same country Khan won a Silver Medal for.

The thing I find most amusing on this forum is the NUMBER of excuses posters use to slag Khan when IMO, it's clearly evident that they are using this excuses to express their inner hatred towards Khan simply because of his ethnic and religious background. Of course, they will not come out and say it as they will be seen as 'racist' so why not slag him for his 'glass chin' and 'his ducking competition'.

Yeah, that's what I said, I don't deny that his race does play a role for some people, but its not the only reason that somebody might dislike him.
Although I think you should specify that you are at the very least an equal opportunities cannibal otherwise sanchez will be after you ;)

hes a good fighter but he is soooooo overrated lyk madly
the other day he was talking about fighting pacquiao den he got dropped by presscott who is basically unknown to most.
what pisses me off is that he hasnt really proven himself at a domestic level yet for me.
he hasnt won a british title and doesnt face john murruy whu keeps on offering him out n to be honest khan would probly beat him aswell but doesnt fight him still.

There you have it from a literate Muslim, he has not proven himself. It is not always about race and religion, just that he has not proven himself.

Text messaging should be banned. Or phones should have a spelling/punctuation checker built in that doesn't correct mistakes but charges 10p every time somebody makes one. Britain's English teachers have failed miserably, this is the only way to preseve the language. God knows what the written word will look like twenty years from now.

We aint all as bad! I'm 17 years old and I maintain a (I'd like to think so) good presentation with my grammar. ;)

I think it's just a habit now people have picked up with things such as text messaging and MSN.. I wasn't any better one time, then I realised how much more sense I get across if I type properly. ;D
