And Mayweather brings up a great point. Why is he to big for Marquez, but not Pacquiao?
Pac already been tested at 147 but not Marquez
So that corpse Manny was hitting was considered a test at Welterweight?
My arse it was!

If Floyd Mayweather wanted somebody else to interview him, they'd get somebody else to interview him, yet he always wants Kenny to do it. Why? Because he wants this type of interview, hell he even started this time, I mean practically the first thing he said was something about Brian Kenny not knowing anything about boxing.
And the next time you see him on ESPN who will be interviewing him? I guarantee you it will be Brian Kenny which should tell you everything need to know.
Your probably right
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
If Floyd said "Yeah, bring me anybody anytime" he wouldn't have gone through all the crap that went back and forth. As a matter of fact, I think it would be even better if he said that and then started throwing all kinds of crap at other boxers (Pacs losses, Mosley losses, and all the other things he said). It would have been easier for him. But not clearly saying that made Kenny doubt him in the interview and all the hand clapping and stuff.
How do we know Floyd likes Kenny? Did he said that or what?

The ODLH fight was not testing @ 147 ! That was Pac earning CE
credits at a Las Vegas convalescent hospital like most of his countrymen nurses !!
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
That was so unprofessional of Mr. Pac Hugging Kenny. I was impressed with how well big mouth PBF handled the situation. When reporting you are supposed to get the story not try to be the story! I would love to see PBF or JMM return the favor someday by beating Pac and make him eat crow, dominate the dialogue and make him look stupid.

If floyd wins over JMM then pac, kenny would only say "when are you going to face some legitimate big men, when are you going to face shane mosley? or cotto"
If JMM wins over floyd then pac, kenny will give him full credit while licking the sweat from JMM's taint....

whether he likes him or not is irrelevant, he likes the interviews they have because they always are so contentious, which leads to them being memorable.
He said something once (unless I'm losing my mind) about Kenny being his Howard Cosell. I looked for it for like a minute and couldn't find it, can't be bothered. Maybe I'm confused.
this thread is funny though.
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
loved the interview kenny was all calm mayweather was gettin hot you knew mayweather woke up that day and said he was going to be a asshole to brian kenny its good to have floyd back
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
Yea i caught that.An what i thought was really funny is,When Kenny pursued Floyd on the 147 weightclass an Sugar Shane.Floyd Immediately started stuttering an maken excuses. An no one should get credit for fighting OscarThe Golden Boy was over rated. He beat an old Chavez Ok but what was that Dancen wit the stars performance wit Trinadad.I wasnt impressed.Anyway great interview An way to go Kenny YEAH!!!
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
The problem people have with Floyd is that he is a business man and a fighter. He fights the highest profile name that will make him the most money and poses the least threat to his undefeated record. He will make more for fighting Pac than Mosley, so in a sense he is correct in basically saying Shane isn't as big of a PPV draw. Floyd takes the least path of resistance for the most cash. Most people are like Floyd. If given a chance to do a hard job for quite a bit less money than a fairly easy job for much more money, they pick the easy way, it's common sense. I think any average Joe if given the choice would do this as well. It's not what those of us who love the sport want to see. We would like to see him fight the best but he is a business man first and obviously doesn't care what we think. Some guy living next door to you who made a lot more money than you but could dictate how he made that money while doing a much easier job wouldn't care what others thought of him either. Floyd treats boxing like a job not to test himself.

I agree it would apply to a lot of boxers, but when you start making claims of being the best, great......you need to prove it inside the ring.
