well there are reports of Juanma already signing a contract to fight Caballero early next year in a unification bout, so not like he's just goin after garbage
I think that's more cuz of Caballero's doing. He pretty much punked Lopez into taking the fight
i think Caballero/Lopez is the best fight available at super bantam, and i'd have it a 50/50 affair
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
Lopez is lucky that ain't Marquez or Vazquez in there with him tonight

IMO Marquez and Vazquez are pretty much done, and they're the ones that jumped ship and chose to move up in weight
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
Hard to focus on the Vazquez fight cuz I'm watching the Lopez one. But i didn't like the way that first round looked for him
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
and back to Caballero, what has he done since beating Molitor?!?
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
Damn it, I was hoping that the Lopez and Vazquez fights weren't going to overlap. I hate trying to watch two fights at the same time.

Marquez did not look done to me. But Vazquez is looking it right now.
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
Mtagwa round. And a big one. Lopez looks like he's in serious trouble

yea due to the whole detached retina bit, i'm pretty much more concerned about Vazquez's health than anything, i was hoping he'd look great in his comeback but it's sure as hell not looking that way
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
I'd love it if Mtagwa sparks Lopez out, and I'm not even sure why.
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
Mtagwa is like a much better Tanzanian version of John Duddy ;D
He's showing some serious heart here, only ever youtubed him before, but he's holding his own with Juanma more than any other fighter he's faced.

He's kept busy while trying to make the Lopez fight. Not to mention he offered Gamboa a fight and was turned down
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
Mtagwa's not elite, and Juanma should be handling him alot better, but hey it's an entertaining fight lol

It's like the real Rocky thing. Except Mtagwa probably doesn't talk like someone has filled his mouth with sponges
