These guys want to be MMA artists because thats what they WANT to be, regardless of the money involved, they do it for the love of the sport. ;)
you seriously hand on heart believe that
You honestly think that none of the current UFC world champions have considered going into boxing and making millions just because they love MMA??
bollocks mate, they dont make the transition because they know the level of talent is just far too dense in boxing.
I`ll reiterate my point again, would mayweather, pacquiao, mosley heck even the likes of froch, kessler, hatton entertain the idea of main eventing against someone who has a 20% defeat record??
LMAO, you make me laugh with your ignorance ;D
With the argument ya trying to make, lets say this then, why doesnt Usain Bolt become a footballer, he could earn way more money as a pro footballer, reason he doesnt is because his heart is in Athletics. Same with MMA, they hearts are in MMA not boxing.
Got credit Hammer for his black and white approach to things.
I agree with you though entirely. It's self evidently absurd to suggest that anybody who is interested in combat sports would automatically most want to be a boxer and only pursue others through lack of talent.
Everbody in life finds their own hobbies and interests specific to them. Nobody takes up a sport or activity initially with a view of what will make the most millions at elite level, people just do what they love.
I guess Floyd would really rather be playing golf seeing as Tiger Woods is the richest athlete ever, but even more than that he probably wishes he was a software engineer who broke into the field in the late 70's and early 80's.

As long as they feed him with ham he'll do fine, the day he'll meet a good kickboxer to hammer down his legs or a jiu-jitsu specialist then it's all over. They will feed him for 2-3 fights with good punchers with limited ground or kick game, preferably weak chin to make it even more sensational.
