Re: GR8 Britain vs The World - Khan v Maidana - Chisora v Klitschko..... etc
I don't even think Chisora's power seems that good really. He's getting destroyed in this fight no question. The only real issue is just how long he lasts. I've also got a nice bet on Maidana to KO Khan in rounds 1-3. It'll be worth the PPV if he does. Khan will probably take a UD, but I doubt Khan can keep away for the full 12. At least I hope he gets caught ;D Besides winning my bet it would just be priceless seeing him get sparked again
Re: GR8 Britain vs The World - Khan v Maidana - Chisora v Klitschko..... etc
I have a funny feeling that Khan will get off the canvas and win.
But my head says that if Khan gets hurt, Maidana will get him out of there.
Does anyone know what of the German and Vegas undercards will be shown?

I dont think Chisora has big power and if he fights like he does then hes fucked. I think he does have good movement though and trying to find positives for him, I think that could give Klitschko trouble.

The same JMM who has just beaten the living piss out of one of the best fighters at 135, before stopping him? The same JMM who holds stoppage wins over Casamayor and Juan Diaz at 135?
I can't believe so many people have decided JMM can't compete at 140
JMM can compete at 147, he just can't deal with the outside style, even Malignaggi would beat JMM.

I hope you're kidding because malignagi isn't really an outside boxer, and second he gets murdered.

The more news I hear about this 3-site 2-site PPV card on Sky, the more I agree with Smashup that it seems to be falling apart.
Losing Chisora v Klitschko, even though it was likely to be a beating for Dereck, is the biggest fight to drop so far. Must say I was looking forward to that one, I was thinking he had a puncher's chance against a defensive Klitschko who doesn't like taking punches on the chin.
Then Frankie Gavin pulls out. Not that big a loss really, and I do like Larry Olubamiwo, but I'm not sure at all about the guy they've got in with him, one of those records that is hard to judge out of Eastern Europe, next to no names I recognise so hard to tell how hard his matchups are.
Nathan Cleverly losing Lakatos as the opponent as well isn't great. Lakatos had a few losses, but only to good-level guys. The guy they've drafted in Nadjib Mohammedi excited me at first, with a win over Tomas Adamek on his record. Sadly, that's the Czech Tomas, not the Polish Tomasz Adamek.
On the plus side, the revised running order from Warren's website has this listed:
CHAMPIONSHIP #5
THE SUPER-MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD
12 X 3 Minute Rounds @ 168 lbs
PAUL SMITH vs. JAMES DEGALE
DeGale world champion after 9 fights? Now that would be the slyest work of Warren's career!

The card is still better than Haye v Audley. :)

If Maidana lands the big shot early on....could the big fight be even quicker than that?
Re: GR8 Britain vs The World - Khan v Maidana - Chisora v Klitschko..... etc
Disappointed that the Wlad vs Chisora fight is off. I know it would have been onesided but it added to the long evening of fights. I had expected better opposition for Brook and Cleverly and the whole Warren card is pretty lightweight interms of quality bouts.
Amir Khan vs Marcos Maidana is the main attraction for me. I do believe that Khan will get tagged at somepoint and his chin can't handle it at this level.
Re: GR8 Britain vs The World - Khan v Maidana - Chisora v Klitschko..... etc
Easy night's work for Kell Brook to start of the PPV there... Kotey was never going to be in there very long, and it just depended on how long Kell wanted to hold off with the right hand.
If this becomes the theme for the evening, then it could be along the lines of Gr8 Britain in the colonial era...beating up on countries who are completely overmatched and didn't know what a gun was until it shot them.
Talk of putting Brook in with Mike Jones, and I think he could do very well if that match-up was made.
