What would be best for boxing ...and again this is REGARDLESS OF WHO WINS so don't reply with bullshit like "It would be best for boxing if Wlad got beat"
As a fan of Wlad I of course want to see him win, convincingly and quickly, as a BOXING fan I would like a bit of drama, maybe a few knockdowns on each side, but in the end a clear winner and nothing that causes controversy.
I want one champion, that cant happen with Wlad and Vitali around. Best thing would be for Vitali to fight Haye, win and call it a day or lose and still call it a day.
haye blasting out wlad would be best for boxing and is what i want to see
and there is a very real posibility of it happening
does that answer your question?
Not especially, but you're entitled to your view...I suppose you'd want a quick KO instead of one midway through the fight? That was more along the lines of what I was asking "What would make the fight exciting to boxing fans no matter who wins?" because we already know pretty much who everyone has sided for or against.
it is my opinion (remember just my opinion i know yours is different) that it is the klits fault we havent had a fight between haye and klit so far, even the first time when haye pulled out was the klits fault
I also dont like the way they use their negotiating power in all their other defences and the pittance that they pay their challengers
if this was more open then perhaps we may even have a bit more ambition in the HW division
for these reasons i hope he is blown away and humilaited
as a boxing fan i like to see close hard fought exciting fights, this time a blow out would give me most satisfaction
for the record i think wlad is the favourite, but haye has a real chance of winning and knocking him out early
Re: Haye v Klitschko is on official .........apparently
I'll throw in my own :twocents: at the risk of pissing Wlad fans or Haye fans off:
After all this INFERNAL waiting, I just want a good fight. I want Wlad to be tested, to be tagged good a few times, and see how he reacts to it. I want ebb and flow (maybe that one was too much to ask)... I want Haye to try his hardest to back up all the shit he's been talking. I want both of them at their very best, so there's no excuses. I don't want any controversy, any DQ's, any shady judging. I want to see both Wlad AND Haye with a few bruises on their faces at the end of the fight. I want to FINALLY be satisfied with a heavyweight fight for the first time in MANY, MANY years. I want to forget about Ali-Frazier and think about Wlad-Haye.
And while I'm at it...... I want to win the lottery.
;D

I'm not the biggest boxing fan out there, and I haven't been following the sport long, but how is it Klitschko's fault Haye backed out?
haye was probably offered a few hundred k for the fight whilst the klit was getting millions
this is a pretty safe bet considering the deals all their other opponents get
haye was offered a much better deal for a version of the world title, probably worth 10 times what he was offered to fight wlad in fighting valuev
he backed out and decided to take the valuev fight, as i reckon 99% of other people would.
if the klits were a bit less greedy and were willing to be fair in negotiations then we would have already have seen haye v wlad
just my opinion mind :)
