Re: OK... how did you score the Pac-Bradley fight?
I'm not sure if Pac can keep his foot on the gas anymore. He was only really doing 60 seconds a round against Bradley.
Re: OK... how did you score the Pac-Bradley fight?
I just re watched it and i had it slightly closer than i did on the first watch.
Watching it without the biased HBO commentary makes a difference and Bradley was pretty competitive in all the rounds.
I still think Pac won though.
I thought people having Bradley winning must of been out of their minds but after this watch, i could see a slight case for Bradley stealing it. Pacquiao only fighting for 1 minute of every round didn't help his case and literally stopped fighting the last few rounds.
I do think his cleaner harder shots pulled him through in most rounds but i don't think it was an effective way of winning rounds.

As the day has worn on, it seems that some fans are agreeing it was perhaps closer than they initially thought. Difficult to see everyone's cards here, over many pages. Those of you (who are interested) should register at EyeOnTheRing.com - they collect fan cards. The site just launched, they hope to grow into an online place for fans to collectively have a voice.

So far as of this post only 3 fan cards entered! Also the cards entered are way close (two draws...?!?)

Re: OK... how did you score the Pac-Bradley fight?
I watched the the fight off my DVR and viewed the whole thing with replays and slow-mo's between key exchanges, rooting for Bradley to pull the upset. Throughout the match, I really thought Bradley was game but struggling to land anything effective on his opponent while Manny was bullying him with power punches and pushing him back (being the overall general). When Micheal Buffer announced Tim as the winner, my jaw dropped to the floor til someone threw the towel.
Besides Rigondeaux vs Kennedy, what a stupefied night for boxing.

Bradley couldn't take the speed, and I thought it was going to be an early night, but he just let Bradley back into the fight. Fucking pathetic and that decision was a disgrace to the sport.
I spent £15 for that fight and watched it with all of my mates who aren't propa boxing fans and they were so
Shocked with such a bullshit decision. How anybody could have Bradley winning the fight is beyond me. The only reason you could have given Bradley rounds is because Manny was coasting and letting him
Into the fight, it was horrible to see.
It kinda makes me not support a rematch, why should I pay money to support bullshit things that occur? It's horrible, it's left a really bitter taste on my mouth this morning. If the rematch does happen and Pacquiao doesn't stop Bradley within 5 rounds, I would think there was something bad again happening.
That fight was so bad for the sport of boxing, really feel let down. Hope something happens about this cos
That wasn't right, the way they made you await so long for the fight was too painful, ricky Hatton and buncey were chatting on for so long it was
Painful at times. All around horrible not of boxing, i feel gutted. You had to feel sorry for Jorge Arce too, wtf was that about really?
Maybe drinking a little to much? Bradley won against an old Manny who has definitely lost his aura of invincibility that began with Marquez 3 and continued against Bradley. I had no problem with 115-113 Bradley.
I need to watch it again no doubt,
But how manny didn't knock him out was beyond me. Pacquiao let him into the fight it was bullshit, no doubt
the fight was fixed.
If it was fixed then Manny went along with it, he was in no way the same fighter who fought out of his skin against DLH, Hatton, Cotto and Margo! Where was the relentless Manny Pacquiao in this fight? Pacquiao spent most of the rounds banging his gloves together at odd times, then with 20-30 seconds left in the round he decides to throw some flurries? He simply fought poorly or wasn't interested in winning? This was not the same Manny Pacquiao pre Marquez 3, i reckon time has caught up with him or there really is something more sinister afoot? If he comes out in the rematch and blasts Bradley out in less than 3 rounds then i will agree with you about this fight being fixed.

Pacquiao is clearly the classier fighter but I felt he made it harder on himself by being quite lazy in this fight.
Not saying he lost - I'll go back and score it another time but what I did see were quite a few difficult to score rounds. I still think Arum had a hand in the result to extend his bottom line and his agenda.
In the rematch, if Pac puts his foot on the gas he'll have a much easier time and maybe get Tim out of there. Also, when are fighters going to learn NEVER coast those final championship rounds!!
Here's the thing. If this fight did poor ppv buys, there won't be a rematch and the signs are on the wall that it didn't do as well as previous Pacquiao fights.
Re: OK... how did you score the Pac-Bradley fight?
Well..... 62 votes so far and not much action going on, so here are the results so far:
- 3/4 of all voters said "Pac by wide margin"
- Another 8% of voters said "Pac by narrow margin"
- (So basically about 83% of voters had Pac winning one way or another).
- 11% had Bradley winning by narrow margin
- 5% had it a draw
- And one person misread it as "Bradley has a wide wife" and voted "Bradley by wide margin"
Re: OK... how did you score the Pac-Bradley fight?
I'm telling you guys, I'm one of those people who could go on and on about Pacquiao.
Especially my suspicions towards his use..
Lol
I watched that fight from a completely different language with no compubox numbers.
Pacquiao one clearly and he didn't even look too bad. Bradley was that kind of opponent where he makes it an ugly fight.
Re: OK... how did you score the Pac-Bradley fight?
Bradley won, much like style-"predecessors", Mosely and Clottey, although unlike the "desert storm", the latter two ring warriors were unable to secure the judges nods. ;)

(Quoting myself, I fixed the link above. Idiot noob. Still don't have enough fan cards on that site.)
I see a trend emerging that Bradley does better upon a second viewing. I don't know what that means, just an observation. Better doesn't have to mean winning, either. (Another trend seems to be "re-watch it sober", LOL.)

It's not out of the question to see this fight 7-5 for either guy or even a draw. No Robbery just a close fight and all about what you're looking for.
Who pays 60-70 dollars for a pay per view telecast and watches the entire fight on mute?
