No body said Lewis was not beatable, he was as he lost a couple of fights but he would have beaten the Klit brothers. None of their opponents can compare with Lennox, they may have the same common opponent but they were all old by the time they fought the Klit brothers.
Joe Fraiser destroys Byrd like Tua did.

Vlad and vitali will always be behind lennox in the pound for pound status of all heavyweights.
A prime vitali couldnt even beat a past it lewis...imagine how vlad would have handled those uppercuts!
And i think it shows a lack of respect to say the old golden era fighters wouldnt stand a chance against some of these fluffy fighters like haye..haye has trouble lasting ten rounds let alone 15 rounds like they did in fraziers day with less money!
Plus, the oldies fought more! not once or twice a year like today.
I think Tua is the better comparison. Ike went in swinging with both hands, Tua had a very good left hook, but his right was harder to land, the punch still have KO power but never got to Byrd who had one heck of a chin by the way. I look back and wonder about that match that almost came about Wladimir vs David Tua. I think wlad could have been the guy to stop Tua.Quote:

I think ppl feel threatened by what the klitschkos represent so they re-hash a fight that happened a decade ago on 11 days notice (which i have always found to be strange considering no one ever really brings up i.e oliver mcall when talking about lennox lewis!). A fighter's entire career should be taken into consideration not one loss, I think vitali became a much smarter fighter with age anyway...
Get used to them because they are the first of many...Borders open (approximately in the year 2000) and Eastern-Europeans enter the arena! Within a decade Americans lose all their titles to Eastern-Europeans. And then they go on and produce 2 linear champs too...
