Agreed, Sexton probably wouldnt have seen the second round against any of those ALL TIME GREATS!

Who in this thread has said Price is a great fighter ? i pretty much think we are saying he would Ko Fury inside a few rounds ?
so what has him fighting Sexton , or Harrison got to do with it ?
also what has Sexton getting KOED by Tyson of Foreman got to do with it ?
Price KOS Fury inside 2 rounds.
THE END.
I was just going to stop posting in this particular thread as iv said what I think and cant be arsed to go over and over again for the sake of it.
You think Price beats Fury. I think Price is no where near ready to face any world ranked opponents. Fighting Skelton wont change that and thats that.;D;)
If Price fights and retains the Lonsdale belt by defending the British title he will already have done more than Fury. It is not a stick to beat him with, it is a badge of honour, the most beautiful and meaningful belt that a British man can hold. Fury dismissed it as though it were trash and then expects the British public to follow him? He thanks Jesus and then talks of handing Price's "sole" to the devil? The man is deluded.
If hes not ready for the elite, he wont be fighting Fury as hes ranked 4th...;D
HEAVYWEIGHT
Are you suggesting that rather than defend three times and win the Lonsdale belt outright Fury wanted to light the touchpaper on his career by fighting Firtha, Rogan and the builder?
Seriously?
Last British heavyweight champion to bypass the Lonsdale Belt - David Haye. Last British Heavyweight champion who could be bothered with the Lonsdale belt - Lennox Lewis.
Which one do you want to be?
Fury would just be treading water and wasting time for the sake of winning a meaningless belt. He wants world honours. If hes deluded we wont have long to wait because hes willing to fight higher class of opposition than British level.
He would waste at least a year of progression just to have a belt he obviously doesnt want.
He won it against Chisora, then fought Firtha, Rogan and the Builder. Hardly pulling up tree's is it?
Sorry he won the Irish title
He would still have had time to have the (to date) career defining fight against Madalone.
Your taking it back to Price again. The question is what did Fury do in 3 fights post Chisora that was so noteworthy that it waranted bypassing the Lonsdale belt outright?
We can talk about each fighters progress, who they've fought, who they haven't and who's done what, but a really simple way to answer this is to use your eyes. As a boxing fan your eyes should tell you quite clearly that Price has a lot of potential but has a way to go, and that Fury is utter utter shit. It's pretty clear when you just stop and look. (As most in this thread have).
