I was thinking about this the other day, who's going to ref this bad boy. I wish Frank Cappuccino would *sigh* I hope it isn't Kenny Bayless again.

I'm genuinely surprised that this fight is on and so will be doubtful that it will stay on until I hear the first bell.
As for the fight itself - ever seen Duran vs Leonard III?
Great fun.
If it was up to Arum and he was in the position he was ten or twenty years ago the undercard would be total garbage. But now he's looking at possibly Manny's last fight and he has the competition from Fishnets and Haymon and doesn't have any new PPV stars to promote so he needs to try and make one. Lomachenko is probably his next best thing after Manny so the chances are he'll get the undercard slot.
If Don King was doing the show ge woould put on the under card:-
Wlad v Wilder with the winner fighting against comeback Tyson.
GGG v Froch winner beats up Ward
Saul v Cotto winner gets the winner of the main event. :)
Since 1 of the 3 belts is super welter, what will Floyd & Pac weigh on fight night ? Big difference between the 2?

Pac has been in more wars, more rounds & more fights.
Pac has been stopped by face shot and body shot.
Floyd dropped once (standing 8-when his glove touched the canvas)
PBF looks best against (every style to date)
PAC looks best against (aggressive fighters)
Question(s) not yet answered:
PBF: Can he take a flush shot from a power puncher for possibly 12 rounds
PAC: Can he adjust to a counter puncher who is effective at tying up his foe when in close.
Evander Holyfield takes Pac to win over PBF. Interesting perspective: politics for Real Deal. Claims if fight is close, PBF won't get the victory.
Maybe Floyd will take some chances in this fight as a result.
If Torrecampo & Singsurat could drop Pac as a flyweight, If JMM can drop Pac twice @ WW, I think Floyd can sting Pac.
Maybe a clash or two of the heads will occur as they fight for inside position.
Holyfield the former roider picks Pac to win... Guess they stick together.
I'm on the fence. I'd like to see Floyd stay undefeated- but only if it is an ass kicking performance. Another side of me wants to see Pac be the one. As far as comparing Pac & Holy (funny BTW Ruthless)...I would say Sometimes Pac as with Holy looks better in defeat than Floyd does in victory.
And should Pac win: it couldn't happen to a cooler guy.
All right fella's I'm getting serious this time and when I'm serious you all outta listen up. This is my fact #1:
This much is sure, that Floyd will get hit the most number of times in this fight compared to all his past fights - unless of course he decides to run. To be fair to him, he's not a runner as many sez. He's more of a hit-n-runner type of a fighter but hits more than he runs. So now the big question will be how that fact will affect the fight. Will Floyd out-punch Pac? can he take his punches? and conversely, can the post-KO Pac take Floyd's punches? Something you all ought to watch out for in the fight...
The Prince of Pactardia has SPOKEN!!
Let it be known Floyd will be punched a lot more than ever before on May 2, 2015
It's strange because I've never been much of a Pacquiao fan. On top of that, I've always had a great technical appreciation of Floyd's style.
However, with out a doubt, I think boxing would be better off if Manny won and I personally would really like to see the puncher win one of these high profile match-ups for once.

I need a new brain lol! These relevant threads that show up underneath are a trip! Just read an old thread from 2009 and I am practically saying the same shit then.
We've been doing this for six years guys, wow... that's more than half the time I've been here ffs!!
