I'm 31 years old and it's never made a fucking scrap of difference who is in charge, labour, tories etc, none of the cunts have done anything to help me in a way that I have ever noticed.
Is it really that different in America?

I really wasn't. I'd like to see Bernie Sanders getting sworn in in a couple of months. You ended up with a choice between bad and worse. Even if Trump does do something useful with trade/bringing jobs back it's going to be outweighed by phasing Medicare and social security out but the real crucial thing is deregulating the smartest guys in the room.Quote:

Bernie isn't a socialist. With Bernie you're not going to get a centrally planned economy, you're just going to get things dialled back a little bit. Higher taxes on the wealthy, properly regulated financial system and corporations and so on. Basically turn the clock back to where America was in the 1960s. No central planning like Venezuela which is a banana republic with oil. Whoever is running Venezuela does the same thing. When the oil price is hight previous governments looted the country on behald of the twenty families who own the country. When Chavez took over the oil price had crashed and the country was in the same situation it was noe, 3000+% inflation and mass unemployment. Wall Street overwhelmingly backed Hillary because she was favourite to win. But Wall Street also backed Trump and now the next at least four years are going to be a gigantic bonanza for the financial industry. Remember Fannie and Freddie? Would you like to own a piece of a ten trillion mortgage business and be given it for free? Watch what happens to those two firms in the next couple of years.
Trump is going to deregulate the American financial system back to 2006. It's only a matter of time now until another financial crisis. And when it happens we'll discover it was Obama's fault. That's just a wild fucking guess like.

Trump used to be a Democrat. He was saying a few years ago that rich people like him should pay a big one time wealth tax to pay off the entire national debt. Bernie has never suggested anything as Communist as that. Was pro abortion, pro single payer healthcare and so on. I think people are getting carried away with this Trump thing.
Here's the long and short of it, IMO.
We are justified in not liking Trump's use of Twitter.
We are justified in thinking Trump may have enjoyed winning the election more than he'll enjoy being President.
We are justified in not liking many things about Trump's personality.
We are justified in not liking how Trump encouraged... rather than DIScouraged... separatism and hatred during his campaign.
We are justified in worrying how Trump will actually run the country, now that he has the keys in his hands.
None of this..... I'll repeat..... NONE of this.... means any of us are Clinton lovers (shudder..... hell no) or other nonsense like that.
Personally, I'm glad..... I'll repeat.... GLAD.... Clinton got her ass beat. She would've made a horrible President.
Yes, I'm glad there's a system of checks and balances, and truly believe it will be put to the test with President Trump.
I can only hope the system works as it should, working to avoid a full meltdown whether at the domestic or even worse, the global arena.
This election was more about Hillary than it was about Trump, I believe. It was a mass rejection of Hillary as unfit to be President. (Yes, I said it).
Had Trump been up against a good candidate, I believe he would've lost.
Yes, Trump brought with him some good messages. It's just the package they're wrapped up in..... THAT'S the problem.
Half the people crying about the election isn't because they're Hillary lovers. It's because they fear and dislike Trump.

I've said this before and I'll say it again: I wish Trump the very best in the next 4 years. If he succeeds, so will the country.

People will probably never understand us New Yorkers. We are a vengeful lot.
