I hear ya tits. I'm not into The Beach Boys but my understanding is that pet sounds is an excellent album. Don't forget it was one of The Beach Boys that discovered Charles Manson. Charlie had met, I beleive it was Brian Wilson at the same house that Roman Polanski later occupied. It is suspected that's who Manson wanted to kill as they never called him back. Always liked Joe Walsh as well, he gave Jimmy Page his first Les Paul didn't he, well depending on what story you believe, he either gave it him or Jimmy stole it.Quote:

I think the story is that Joe Walsh showed his Les Paul to Jimmy Page at a party and later on returned and Page and the guitar was gone, when they met at a later date Page gave him £500, I don't think he actually asked Walsh if he was alright with it though, I think it was more pity money than anything.
Saw joe Walsh here in Connecticut he was so drunk everyone walked out he couldn't play
I think I'm much older than most people here. I remember when the Beatles came to America. All I can say is that there was nothing like them before or since. I know there are many bands who are outstanding. How many bands can you name that broke up 47 years ago and are still being talked about today? Or there records sell like there new. One billion people can't be wrong. In my mind they are not overrated. 100 years from now people will still be talking about them.
1 billion people can be wrong as Justin Bieber continues to prove. However, the Beatles had some tunes.
I've never been a big Beatles fan at all, save for a few songs on the white album. However, I think that their impact and their influence over the musical scene is absolutely staggering!
