Yes let's just leave the "N" word with rappers and thugs. What did he have to say about whites that would be any more inflamitory??? Cracker, Honkey, Ophay...it wouldn't matter, no one cares about white people. I love how Whites can be racist but not anyone else....Whites can commit hate crimes and no one else. I have to agree. If any other figher,race, would have said something racist like that. I think the Boxing commission would suspend him plus he might get sued. Toney was mad about getting beat, and was being his usual arrogant self, he should have been mad at himself for waddling into the ring at a fat and bloated 238ibs. Now was it a racist statement, absolutley!!!! And as far as Freddy Roach is concerned, whats he gonna say, he's trying to get paid, and as for Toney's wife being white, so that does'nt make him racist...give me a break!!! I know plenty of black dudes that hate white men but love white girls, but Toney's not the only black entertainer that gets away with racial statements, for example Charles Barkley saying at an all-star game that he hates white people, Ken Norton Jr stated that him and his father Ken Norton Sr had n't spoken in yrs because Norton Jr married a white girl, just imagine if Joe Namath's daughter had made the same statement. Jessie Jackson stated just after Gerrie Coetzee knocked out Dokes for the WBA Title, that Larry Holmes should fight Coetzee, because the Heavyweight Champ should be black. So its not the first time that I heard a racist statement from a black entertainer, and I'm sure not the last, but Toney should be held accountable for his statement just like a white man would. But he won't....so fook em!!!
