Either that or the ring girls have been recalled or something.
They can get pretty knee jerk with it over last year. I just don't get booing a fight 2,3 rounds in :-X.
Re: Garcia vs Porter on Sept 8 for the vacant WBC welterweight belt
5-0 Ugas, the other guys is way too cautious.
Re: Garcia vs Porter on Sept 8 for the vacant WBC welterweight belt
One way traffic. 6-0 Ugas and putting a bit more on the body shots end of 6th. Trainer tells him to 'get out of your mind' and don't feel sorry for him :-X

Re: Garcia vs Porter on Sept 8 for the vacant WBC welterweight belt
And Broner gets the camera shot and goes for the double flip off :p. What a soggy turd.
Re: Garcia vs Porter on Sept 8 for the vacant WBC welterweight belt
Everybody loves Broner.
Ugas finally opens up in the 8th, all over Barrionuevo midway through the round.
8-0 Ugas.
Re: Garcia vs Porter on Sept 8 for the vacant WBC welterweight belt
Ugas looking for body shot ko. As long as he's looking for it now ;D. 9-0 Ugas. Terry Crews and Porter working the pads there.
Re: Garcia vs Porter on Sept 8 for the vacant WBC welterweight belt
Much of the same in the 9th. Over-matched opponent.
9-0 Ugas.
Re: Garcia vs Porter on Sept 8 for the vacant WBC welterweight belt
Ugas reminds a bit of..... Terrence Crawford?
The way he shuffles into position, very little wasted motion, walking his victim down.... while the other guy is jumping up and down, wasting energy. He's always in perfect balance and ready to throw his shots.
He seems very cerebral in there.
Re: Garcia vs Porter on Sept 8 for the vacant WBC welterweight belt
10-zip as a fan like to see Ugas kick in the door on a lead. But I get it. Love the way PBC-Showtime manage to show entire top roster during a card.
Re: Garcia vs Porter on Sept 8 for the vacant WBC welterweight belt
11-0 Ugas, how is this guy in an eliminator?

Interesting one yeh. He's pretty calculated and similar slippery. No Crawford chip on the shoulder though. Buds a brutal finisher.

Ugas has rebuilt his career remarkably.

Yeah, Ugas seemed content with just cruising through this one. Maybe a little apprehension about Barrionuevo's vaunted power, but it didn't look like it.
Re: Garcia vs Porter on Sept 8 for the vacant WBC welterweight belt
Ugas hurt him with a right in the last round. Only 20 seconds left so it goes to the cards.
Won't take Einstein to get this one right.
