i've always enjoyed jose's style but he seems to come on too late
Yeah, I agree. Although tonight it didn't seem for lack of trying, as he was pressing the action early. But Barbosa was picking him off easily. In retrospect, José should've switched to southpaw earlier. He had much more success that way.

true, if i had of given jose the second round, which is not out of the question i would have it a draw
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
it was thinking of zab judah but it's not like jose loses focus he just gives away winnable rounds

Zab wished he had that motor too in the really late rounds.

true, if only jose had learned to adjust & switched to southpaw earlier, might have won a few more
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
i'm glad this show started on time for once but these breaks between fights are grating
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
That's a trip, fighters walk out solo with corner already in ring. Wonder if that was more for time restraints. Best of luck to Wilson here. Gotta grab oppurtuntiy by nuts but this could get very ugly if Navarette comes in with purpose.
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Good 1st round on the main event. Liam did good holding his right hand up as I saw at least two blocked mean left hooks.
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
He's pretty spongy for a multi division champ. Wilson not seeing half of these awkward long shots but he's here for it so far.

"Mid-flight adjustments" ;D. Navarrete trying to swarm late 2nd. But Wilson remaining steady...and tall
