Is it me, or is this thread already well on the way to being the most popular of all time? We got 201 posts and there's still pretty much two weeks until the fight takes place!!! Anyhow, I just hope Saddo has put in the reinforced servers and got everything working properly for the evening, cause I got £10 that says it doesn't all flow smoothly on the evening.

Well I will say this at least Floyds not running thru the streets of Puerto Rico in a speedo, getting naked with his trainer, then rubbed down with vinegar only to have unejaculatory sex and to top it off, gets into a quote un quote special pool with Freddy again all naked with  the rest of the trainers...  ;)

Yall are exactly right. Timing IS everything. It's just too bad that neither Freddie Roach nor Shane Mosley can replicate Floyd's defensive speed. Oscar THINKS that he's gonna have his timing down until he walks in the ring and realizes that he's never been in there with someone as quick. Mosley is fast but with his hands, he is absolutely nowhere near Floyd's upper body speed, which is the most important thing in Floyd's defense.

What if: Judah rips Cotto apart? Then who is there left that is worth Floyd facing?
What if: Castillo rips Hatton apart? Then who is there left that is worth Floyd facing?

Hatton & Cotto are still a bit...unproven even now. They have looked less than stellar lately...& I'm a huge Cotto fan...but he's treading on thin ice lately & honestly...Hatton has fallen off against some seriously mediocre fighters.

I'm pretty sure Floyd wins. But the talk from the Oscar camp really makes me second guess. I bet May 6 I look back and it goes the way I thought it would when it got signed, a wide Mayweather UD.

But just the hype surrounding this one, it's to the point where it can't be a letdown because I'll be happy that the fight is over and done with. Not like I don't like this, just it's getting to the point were I don't got much more to say on it.

Strangely enough, I heard Teddy Atlas talk about the fight, and while I pretty much disagreed with everything he said, I couldn't even formulate an argument in my head against it. My first real big fight as a boxing fan so I'm excited that people will talk about this one for a long time to come.
