I'm not bothered what I am bothered by is the 2 commentators (English) who said made a comment about 'Sportsmanship' going out the window this was right before Gattuso went down and Milan kicked the ball out for injury time. So in Untd. would give the ball back to Milan you know the was it's supposse to be, well the commentator started saying If I was Untd. I wouldn't return the ball I would just play on well sadly and I say sadly because I dislike shit! like that Untd. did not return the ball to Milan. The commentator laughed and said 'at a boy' but I could here certainly some anger/dislike in the way he said it. He also with like 6 minutes left kept saying OK, Man. U need to get on by the 3 min. mark and then another before the 1 min. and that puts 'em through. and then in injury time OK, here it is they did it to Bayern they can certainly do it to Milan. :beat: I mean this man was bitter.
That kinda ruined it as IMO, I'm the type of person that can take a loss. This man I wish I knew his name obviusly couldn't.
Good game all in all and can't wait to get home and watch it and certainly can't wait for the final.
Although its standard protocol to give the ball back I wouldn't think twice about not returning the ball if I thought the other team were taking the piss. You see it too often, player goes down like a sack of shit, ball goes out and low and behold he's up in a flash. I didnt watch the game so I couldnt say if this was the case here bu if it was I would have no problem with it.
Ronaldo crumbles?? Mate he needs to see more of the ball for that to happen i blame the shit tactics of Fergie who basically said the opposite to the way we actually played, i have posted my thoughts in the who will win the match thread and basically united have been garbage away in Europe for years now, and especially this year the cautious approach just doesnt work our midfield and defence is not disciplined enough for that sort of game and we dont have a natural holding midfielder like Hargreaves maybe Fergie thinks thats the missing link?? who knows but this year we have beaten by Copenhagen Celtic and Roma beat Lille and Benfica by 1-0 but in both games were under immense pressure for large parts of the game, they are a shadow of the team that go to places in the Premier and bang four in for fun, im not saying that your Boltons and Evertons are are good as these teams, but it's just the way we go about things in europe away that pisses me off. I congratulate Milan they made my team look like little boys tonight, overall im happy with the season at the start of the year when we were 6/1 for the league joint 2nd favs and 9/1 for european cup about 5/6th favs its been an awesome year.Quote:

Then Gattuso went a bit mad and got himself yellow carded for running his mouth off a Scholes (Did anyone else see him making the 'w*nker' gesture to Scholes? ;D Haha. ).
When Ronaldo has the ball at his feet and things are going right for him, he is a joy to watch... but last night he had no interest. He wasn't chasing anything, he was getting disposessed easily and looked like he just wanted to be back in the dressing room to be honest. I've said it all along, for all his talent and skill, he only really shines when the crowd are behind him and everything is going well.Quote:

Insane talent though! Hopefully as he gets older he will become the type of player that can help pull a team out of the trenches like Keane used to do at United.
Alright fellas....
It's GO TIME!!! Will Liverpool pull it off again or will this time Milan hold their ground and not slip?
We'll just have to wait and see for this.....

C'mon you 'Mickey Mousers' 8)
Tough to call this one but Milan look Mustard to me ;)
Kakas scored 10 goals in 12 CL appearances.
That to me speaks volumes.... Pirlos been playing like a mad man...
Smash by any chance did 'ya see the FA final.... Chelsea-United?
Had to pay 35 dlls. to be able to watch it not only that but if you think about it I payed to watch my team loose. :(

Tell yo what if it goes to penalties then Pepe will come through for Liverpool.
The fans will play a massive role too ;)
No one sings like Liverpool and i'm a Spurs fan but always get goosebumps when they sing 'You'll never walk alone'
Makes me proud to be English seeing them all shouting their heads off.
kaka is a danger though and he's on fire at the moment.
Anyone know if Sissoko is playing today?
I hope they use Crouch and Kuyt up front though....they seem to work well together

Really psyched for this here as I've managed to get my boss to let me take a 2 hr. lunch.
Gonna hit up my uncles house and meet up there :drunks:
He's gonna have the beers & some appetizers ready.... 8)
Not Liverpools night tonight, I thought they were the better team on the night but its goals that count and Milan got em. The Liverpool defenders were knackered when Inzaghi went through on goal, they hoped he was off rather than expected.
Well done Milan.
Wot a shitty game by Seedorf :( I mean not 1 single ball he managed to get through....
Kaka was off tonight, especially after seeing him get the ball all alone and fumbling the ball then loosing it. Even then he pulled it off and managed to get the assist. Wot a pass that was...
Memphis, are you like me that when I see a pass like that on the tele I piss my pants cause their so beautiful... :D
Hat's off to Stevie G. as always playing hard to the end not giving up.
Good game by Penant BUT come on out of all the balls he managed to ride all the way up to the Milan side how many of them were good center pieces?
I mean I think 2 possibly 3 in the whole game. I just felt Penant could have done a lot better delivering the ball.
Pirlo, wot can I say wot a treat it is to watch that guy play. So calm and collected like he has all the time in the world.
Credit to Mascherano for holding down the Mid field and covering his area well.
Inzaghi, wot a finish that was you gotta :appl: applaud that.
Really good game I always enjoy watching 2 titan teams face off like this....

Pennants delivery in the first half was alright. They were sent out with instructions to get the ball out to him at every opportunity but it never really materialised, even with Jankulovski on a yellow, he should have been flying at him.
Never really rated Zenden, particularly these days, Kewell wasnt much of an improvement to be honest, him coming off in 2005 was a blessing if I remember rightly, pity it didnt work in reverse.
Pennant did very well in the first half....it's really Rafa's fault, he outmanaged himself.
#1 Gerrard wasn't in a good position (unless they played 4-4-2 with a forward center mid)
#2 Crouch was brought on too late he's great on set peices for the attack but he can defend as well
#3 Poor Bo-Zenden was left on waaaay too long, and Kewell is a little bitch, I'd rather them brought on Fowler than Kewell
....also I hope someone whips the shit out of Gattuso, he's a lousy cunt!
Yeah ever since Aurllio got injured i knew we'd be lacking on the left. Riise cant defend for shiet! See him tryin to play off-side trap for that second goal... WTF was that!? He's better up the field were his left foot is a real danger.
Both Kewell & Zenden are just covering players these days.
IMO Gerrard did try hard but had a poor game. Probably needs to be in the centre of the field more often.
Kuyt was a waste all game. He has the touch of a rapist!
Man! We really need that world class striker signed, sealed and delivered this summer!
Inzaghi is such a cat for goal. He's consistantly been one of the most predatory players for a decade!
Kunt >:mad
I could understand if Rafa put Stevie G up as sort of a midfield/forward hybrid but putting him all the way up front like that really didn't suit him, Steve needs to be able to feed the ball to other players and he really just didn't have anyone to pass to.
Kuyt did ok, at least he can play the whole game....I think he's far better than Bellamy
Riise can't defend but he can blast the hell out of the ball....why not have him at midfield?
Its a shame i know. Its because our only two good defenders are a) injured (Aurllio) and b) on-loan (Warnock).Quote:

I think Banitez is doing a great job with us but his attitude with using Gerrard as a gloryfied utillity player has to stop.
It didn't do Ronney any good when Erickson constantly tinkered with Rooneys game and if you ask me, its apparent that Gerrard (for all his effort) is loosing his touch.
Alonso looked like the best midfielder in our team last night but without Gerrards/ Sissokos legs, he's always gonna struggle too.
Exactly JimBo!
Tinker with the guys who's game you can improve by doing so, not who's game you can hurt.
If you want Gerrard forward play him up but he has to have more than one passing option though. I think it's a rarity when a formation like the one they used the other day works....you need better wing players to do that which IMO means maybe Finan moves up to midfield, he's hella good at crossing the ball and that's something they had trouble with.
Another guy who played GREAT was Mascherano, he did an awesome job, he had some great tackles.
I think Carragher and Agger are ok, I would love to see Liverpool pick up Onyewu from Newcastle (they didn't use him enough) he'd be cheap and VERY good
