Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
Seriously impressed with Haye on Sat. That was a big ask him going over to Mormecks backyard. For a few years Ive been trying to find a quote that Chris Eubank used called 'The killing time' Basically the gist is that in a fight a moment will arise in which the fight can be won or lost, doesnt matter who creates the moment, the one who recognises it is the one who can go on to win the fight.
Thats what happened Saturday. Mormeck appeared to be the boss but in an instant Haye recognised that the fight could be over and he went for it, as he does.
That final shot was really violent, in the neck pretty much.
Like everyone else I feared the worst when he went over in the fourth. Haye showed a serious set of stones to come back like that.
It wont get the attention of Calzaghe or Hatton but that was a superb win.
I fell asleep and missed Cotto Mosley. I dont care though, as ever Haye gave value for money.

Well put mate and it showed balls going to France and doing that!
He said he'd do a "Honeyghan" and go abroad and take it and he did just that!
Was in the paper today saying he had to lose 2 stone and never had a proper meal in 17 weeks just to make the weight :o
Bring on the Heavies ;)
No doubt in my mind AT ALL that he can bring home a world title O0
Brilliant victory and yeah that KO was brutal...Mormeck was f*cked after that one to the neck and i didn't even think he'd beat the count. ;D
Re: David Haye v Jean Marc-Mormeck RBR - World Crusierweight Titles
I only got to see all the fights last night (dvd recording).
Haye did very well considering Mormeck only wanted to fight once he had Haye on the ropes (which appeared to be happening all too easliy).
Haye didnt look so sharp (although he was strong). Im almost certan he'd be STRONGER up at Heavyweight.
Terrible defence though. Nevermind 'questionable chin'. He is a brave lad and took enough whacks... just too leaky (against the ropes). He showed decent lateral movement, i hope he can utilize that more (he'll need it).
Haye did very well to find spots for his body shots (or any shots for that matter). I like the way he can do it going backwards too. Never realised that about Haye.
I wanna see Haye up at Heavyweight fighting all the sub 230's. He'll do very well.
