Should Dimitri Kirilov remain in the pool at 115?
Should Dimitri Kirilov remain in the pool at 115? He has not fought in 17 months & has not won a fight since Oct '07.

Should Wladimir Sidorenko remain rated at 118?
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...ntamweight.jpg
Should Wladimir Sidorenko (currently #6) remain rated at 118? He has not recorded a victory in over 2 years. Has lost his last two fights in a row (although by close decisions) & has now been inactive for 8 months. There is also talk of him moving up.

Who should fill the vacant #10 position at Bantamweight?
-
Re: Who should fill the vacant #10 position at Bantamweight?
I haven't studied enough fights in that category recently to make an enlightened choice but give me 2 days and if the pool isn't close, I'll come back with my opinion on the matter.
-
Re: Who should fill the vacant #10 position at Bantamweight?
I like Gonzalez, he put in a spirited effort vs Agbeko, but Bakhtin is an outstanding fighter, I just hope the tragidy of his last fight doesn't have any ill effects on him...
-
Re: How far should Viloria drop?
3 spots, Viloria was a big favourite & he not only lost; he was stopped! By an unranked no less...
-
Re: Who should fill the vacant #10 position at Bantamweight?
Kohei Oba enters following a deciding manager vote from Killersheep
-
Re: How far should Viloria drop?
Brian Viloria drops to 5th by a unanimous vote of 5-0. All below 5th are pushed down a spot meaning Cesar Canchila enters the pool.
Carlos Tamara takes the #2 position following his 12th round TKO win

Manager Vote - Bantamweight
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...ntamweight.jpg
My manager vote this month is to drop Silence Mabuza 1 spot from 5th to 6th.
I am playing at something here, this would move Montiel up to 5th spot and he is challenging Hasegawa and that would open up the possibility of a championship fight, I know it's a long way to get there, but I figured I'd give it a shot.
Mabuza hasn't won since 2008, one fight in 2009 that was a loss. Montiel has a win just 2 weeks ago.
-
Re: Manager Vote - Bantamweight
I heard Hasegawa-Monteil is a no go.
-
Re: Manager Vote - Bantamweight
I hope the fights still on. I was going to do this at the beginning of next month... good move Greg. Either way Mabuza needs to be demoted!

I hope you're wrong that was a pretty solid card.

Re: Manager Vote - Bantamweight
No way Arum is going to put Montiel in with Hasegawa. He just doesn't take that kind of risk with his fighters.

Should Richie Mepranun enter the pool at 115?
Just putting this vote up for Cleon, who suggested it in a deleted thread.
After defeating the highly touted & previously undefeated Hernan Marquez (who was rated 10th at Flyweight entering the fight) should Richie Mepranum enter the pool at 115 after his win at the Jr. Bantamweight limit?

Late vote - Flyweight pool entry.

Should the winner of Ibarra/Zamora enter the Flyweight pool?
This pool is seriously lacking bodies, the winner of this bout (3/21/10) takes a minor league strap.
Oscar Ibarra - Boxer
vs.
Darwin Zamora - Boxer
Both guys are young active fighters that are working their way up the hard way.
-
Re: Late vote - Flyweight pool entry.
Why not? Its not a great match-up but it seems very even. Plus Ibarra holds a victory over the promising Adrian Hernandez.
I think guys like Cesa Seda Jr (although his last fight was at 115) & Shigetaka Ikehara should also be added to the pool.
My Lightweight pool is pretty stacked, but I have a few suggestion for Straw:
The Akira Yaegashi vs Kosuke Takeichi fight in May could qualify for the pool or possibly a rating, Sammy Gutierrez could also enter the pool, his last fight with Raul Garcia was a cracker & could have gone either way, the Yader Escobar vs Daniel Jarquin fight should qualify for pool entry.

Should Manuel Vargas remain rated at 105?
This vote should have been put up in Feb, but I missed it due to outside concerns...
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...trawweight.jpg
Manuel Vargas rated 10th lost his 2nd straight fight in a row in February. The fight was at 115 to Nonito Donaire but because it was his 2nd defeat the option to remove him was presented.

Re: Late vote - Flyweight pool entry.
Should the winner of Oscar Ibarra/Darwin Zamora enter the Flyweight pool?
Yes, the winner should enter the pool (4 votes) : Cleon, JazMerkin, Galaxy, Killersheep
No, the winner should not enter the pool (0 votes) : N/A
The winner (Oscar Ibarra) enters the Flyweight pool by a vote of 4-0

How far does Raul Garcia drop? (105)

Re: How far does Raul Garcia drop? (105)
Is there going to be any movement on Oleydong? I know he got the win. But that don't mean he deserved it. He faded badly in that fight. I had losing by 2 points
-
Re: Does Yasutaka Kuroki remain in the 105 pool?
If there was any justice he'll taking his place in the rankings. He deserved the win. I thought he clinched it with the knock down. But that's boxing. He stays in the pool

There won't be any movement caused by our system, however you have a manager vote once a month, where you can put up a vote to move one fighter down one rank. We do the manager votes the first week of each month, so next week if you want to put it up demote Sithsamerchai one place that is your call.
-
Re: How far does Raul Garcia drop? (105)
Nah. He stays there. I mean he deserved the loss. But i think he's a better fighter than Nietes. Not comfortable with Nietes benefiting from that movement when he to should of been demoted after the Manuel Vargas fight.

Should Milan Melindo remain rated at 105?
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...trawweight.jpg
He has not fought at this weight in over a year. His next fight is scheduled for 112 as was his last & his 2 fights before that were technically at 108. His last official fight at Strawweight was in October '08.

Does Anselmo Moreno overtake the #1 spot at 118
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...ntamweight.jpg
Anselmo Moreno (#2) defeated Nehomar Cermano (#9) which means we vote to promote him a spot. Does he deserve to overtake the #1 spot on the heels of this victory

Re: How far does Koki Kameda drop after his loss
I would say number 1. Because that fight was extremely close with Wonjongkam and could have went either way. He's also fought better oppositions than Narvaez and his brother, plus he beat Naito, so to me he slips to no. 1. There should be a rematch with Wonjongkam.
-
Re: How far does Koki Kameda drop after his loss
How far does Koki Kameda drop after his loss to Wonjongkam?
1 place (5 votes) : Galaxy, JazMerkin, Killersheep, Violent Demise (+1)
2 places (1 vote) : Cleon
3 places (0 votes) : N/A
Koki Kameda drops one spot by a vote of 5-1-0

Re: Does Anselmo Moreno overtake the #1 spot at 118
Does Anselmo Moreno take over the #1 spot at 118 after his victory over #9 ranked Nehomar Cermano?
Yes (0 votes) : N/A
No (7 votes) : Galaxy, Killersheep (+1), JazMerkin, Cleon, markb018, Violent Demise
Anselmo Moreno does not take the number 1 spot.
