Fair play to Kessler. He was becoming more consistent from what I saw and Froch just too sloppy and able to be outworked. I missed two of the later rounds, so not sure about everything. It tightens up the tournament somewhat. I wonder how Froch will take the loss.
Andy and Barker thought Froch won?
I love the Cobra but he didn't win that. I genuinely think he COULD have had he been more willing to work, but he allowed Kessler to dictate.
I'd like to see the punch stats, it seemed liked Kessler threw at least a third more.

I deffinitly think that kessler had some confidence problems going in, he hardly used the right hand in the first half of the fight, he seemed too hesitant but like I thought, Froch is there to be hit and is easily outmanouvered and helped kessler get some momentum, I loved him bullying Froch in the last and just letting rip!!
I'll watch again tomorrow but I saw Kessler taking the harder shots more often, missing a LOT of shots. I had it pretty even.
Great fight though, one of the best fights I seen this year. I hope they fight again. Froch could do with a break though once this tourney is over, his level of opp of late has been pretty stellar
i thought it was a clear win for Kess, Froch was sloppy the whole fight I thought. He has a hell of a chin. Kess did take some shots as well, but i only gave Froch 3 rounds.

You could easily have given Kessler every round after number 5. There was one round I thought was real hard to call and gave to Froch. I thought Froch was going to win after a few rounds and then definitely after the fifth but Kessler turned it up in the 6th and Froch never matched it.

No problems with the result, I thought it was quite close. Great fight though and it keeps the tournement really tight too.
Calzaghe will be lapping this up!! Any more talk of him fighting Froch and he will just laugh, knowing that Froch barely wan a round against someone he beat 3 years ago, when Kessler was undefeated!!

I'll have to watch it again but i can't see how anyone has Kess winning easily. It's close imo.
Carl was saying if the fight was in England he would have won but that would be a pretty dodgy decision if he did. Kessler went forward for 12 rounds. Carl didnt always engage him.
Great 12th but the Yanks watching it wont be impressed. They dont fight with heart they fight with their heads ( literally in Wards case ) They wont get drawn into a war and will use their superior skills.

1 5 11 were Froch's there was 2/3 rounds quite debatable, the others for Kessler.
