It didn't look that bad, but it's impossible to tell since they never got a camera on it.

-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
That was bullshit, have they got a 'no blood allowed' safety policy here?
Ah well, the fight Im most looking forward to now, Sexton Chisora, should be a barnburner.
What's the main event?
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Kell Brook sounds like Keith Lemmon

Weird card this, seems like they are putting the best fights on first and going backwards
Main event is still Macklins fight which it is clearly not any more. Enzo should be good.

Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Brook should fight either Hatton/O Donnell or Watson next. He has still not fought no one or been tested.

The trainer (Hughes) is well known as a compassionate sort.. old Jennings was clearly on his last decent payday
-

Yeah I was thinking that, Macklin has the easiest fight on paper, why is that a main event? I thought Enzo would be on after De Gale, how the hell is he main support.
I thought Cleverley would be main event, then Chisora Sexton, Brook Jennings, Macklin, Hall, Enzo, De Gale.
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Sexton over priced at 9/4 for me.

Nah ref went to the corner to get it cleaned or looked at and good old Hughesy had seen enough and stopped it, but like you said hard to give an opinion when we still haven't seen the cut

Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
You know what we've had more ringwalk music threads than you could shake a stick at. Never known anyone pick a coldplay tune ;D

Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Heavyweights that are actually engaging, throwing punches, and involved in a good fight? What's happening here?
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Chisora hammering that body. Sexton is out of there inside 6 rounds imo
-

Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread

Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
sexton trying to pace himself.. might not get there
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
As an aside, I fucking hate it when people streaming fights change the channel during the commercials.

2-0 Chisora, those punches Sexton threw were only cos Chisora slipped and got caught on the ropes.
Sexton goes down in the fourth, waved off in the sixth I reckon

Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Sexton needs to do what Chisora is doing and hammer the body when they're on the inside.

I can't see that I see this going long.
On another note just checking the WBO rankings at 147
Number 1. Brook
NUmber 3. Alvarez
That is a great fight between two up and comers. Imagine that was made for the vacant belt when Manny vacates. :lickish:

Yes that's him.

Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
3 - 0 Chisora. Sexton gave the round away in the last minute.
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
I'm looking forward to the HBO card tonight too, should be fun.
I like Chisora, he throws a lot of punches for a heavyweight. We know Sexton's limits so I really want Chisora to win this impressively. Him and Fury is a fun fight.
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
You need to uuughhh.......ugghhhhhhhh.....yeah throw some feints.....again.
Muppet ;D

Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Come on Sexton you come so far from the mean streets of Norwich with the likes of Alan Partridge and Delia Smith show the Norwich massive who the man is!!
