Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
Whyte showing what a brixton bad man is. Fuck me
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
AJ taking over now and looking good again.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
Joshua recomposing himself and getting back in control but Whyte can clearly hurt him. Cracking fight.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
Stop unloading on the inside you daft cunt
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
AJ stops him! that was brutal power.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
I think even @ross would have to say that was impressive
Every question we wanted answered got answered and Joshua showed a brain too. Brutal end.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
Well Whyte wasnt as fit as I was hoping but Joshua is just as stiff and muscle bound as I thought he would be.
Had that been Fury instead of Whyte it would have been embarrasing how poor Joshua would have looked.

;D Obligation is a bitch huh?

Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
Yes it is superb how you can beat a fighter less impressively than 3 guys many years before.
Joshua still roles on , what a good scrap.
Well done both guys

Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
Didn't see it but glad he took some leather and sounds like he kept his composure well. Needs to catch this one!
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
Joshua's honesty here is refreshing.
-
AJ looked a bit of a Bruno clone,! stiff and a bit robotic, DW was a tough SOB hats off to him he can come again.
A good HW fight, NO PPV get a liberty box chaps Hearn is ripping us off.

He is a bit robotic.
He never would have won the olympic gold in any other country..lets be honest.
He is getting better but would he beat wilder or fury at this stage..mmmm

Were only Brits allowed to compete the year he did? Don't get that comment at all. Didn't see this card though, and I've never seen Whyte at all, so no other input here :P

Exactly what iv been saying he will look like once he has someone tough.

He wasn't the best boxer at the olympics..simple.

Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
As poor as the revisionists think Wlad is now had it been Wlad putting Joshuas legs like rubber bands Joshua would have made it out of that round.
Hes not world class. Hes proven to be good British level so far.
Would Teper have let him off the hook?
Chisora will give him nightmares! Chisora will be harder to catch clean.
Hearn will now re assess where Joshua is and probably target European level but everyone knows Joshua is vulnerable now.

Still early doors for joshua though.
Lets not keep comparing him and trying to rush him into a world title fight.
Fury is the heavyweight champion of the world and if he can get through the wlad rematch and wilder in 2016 then your looking for fury vs joshua late 2017.

Boxings a funny old game with funny old fans. Whyte had a good couple of minutes but essentially got dominated and sparked out in 7 rounds. He gets largely applauded and he'll come again. If Joshua had been on the receiving end he would have been a busted flush immediately.
Joshua can move onto bigger and better things. Whyte can move onto filling the void Derrick Chisora will leave behind.

It seemed a very popular fight, so I can understand the need for PPV. I just watched it again, and yes The Bomber was what came to mind looking at Joshua. Indeed this fight reminded me of Frank and Jumbo Cummings.
The one difference is though, Joshua's power looks more like the snapping power of a Tyson, than the clubbing strength power of a Bruno.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
He has 14 fights , he got tagged by an unbeaten puncher , he didn't go down he came back and won by ko.
Was a good learning fight and he showed his power is there till the end, whyte has a very strong chin.

While Joshua isn't the finished article, both he and Dillian Whyte would beat Chisora easily.

Thats your opinion but the truth is different.
Chisora makes everyone work.

Chisora will not be as hard as fight at Whyte was I guarantee you that.

Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
Chisora is a light punching plodder who was put in his place by David Haye who brutally koed him.
Chisora has lost every big fight he has been in , lets forget about him and move on.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
The magnitude of Joshua's win will be more apparent when we see what Whyte does in his future career.
He has some talent but its hard to know just how much at this point.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
I like Del Boy but he aint good enough to mix it with the best, he is good fodder for an undercard but unfortunately that is about it

So they're you go Ross. General consensus is Whyte and Joshua would beat Chisora pretty handily. Just because he went 24 rounds with Fury, it don't mean shit. Blowing sunshine up Chisora's ass doesn't make Fury any better. He'll have to keep doing that for himself in the ring . Talk's cheap.

He went 22 rounds with Fury as he retired after the 10th in the rematch. But I agree with all what you said.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
Did you guys know Chisora was KOED by David Haye , who was once floored by Lelonga Mock ?
Just a little irrelevant fact .

Well as I already know general concesus in this forum really means very little;D:cool:

Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
I said AJ was stiff and robotic, he reminded me of big Frank AJ is still work in progress, DW was more
fluid with his movement, and he has a good chin hell he took some big punches up to the end.
AJ is big and strong but there are limitations, he did show very little head movement and he seemed
to be blowing a bit, so he need more learning fights Hearn does get carried away, in pushing towards
a title shot.
Some fighters are natural others are manufactured, AJ looks far from a natural fighter to me, on this
performance he is not ready to fight for a World title, given tIme who NO'S.

Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
It's a bit like trying to judge a local derby at football , sometimes emotions take over to much.
This was a grudge match where technique went out of the window a few times , Joshua has much better punch veracity than Bruno ever had.
He got stunned on the charge by a big puncher , he regrouped and slowly got the bout under control.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte - Massive Bill
Yes it seems Chiapas best days are behind him
The Chisora that turned up to fight helenius or vitali or even haye might give him a fight
