Didn't want to lose any game but let's be honest if on paper you were offered the two draws in a knockout tournament who would have taken the half with Brazil, France, Argentina and our bogey team Portugal in it?
I know what people mean re you have to beat them sometime but if we can somehow get to the semi they will start to believe big time and the country needs a boost.
Of course if we go out to Colombia Southgate will not dare come home....

There's nothing wrong with being realistic and being realistic, if we don't make the semis it will be a disappointment. There's nothing to fear in the last 16 or the quarters, nothing.

France to win 1-0
Uruguay to win 2-1
Argentina beat France
Uraguay beat Ronaldo
By the way, here's my bold prediction for the semis. Just putting it out there so I can look like a genius come semifinals time. ;D
Brazil - Portugal
Spain - England
Argentina are poor and France are so much better. They do not have Arguero or Higuain playing but the goal from Angel di Maria was made from heaven.

I think "crap" is a bit rash, but he certainly does not measure up to the hype in the big games. I've seen incredible stuff from him, but he's done on the international stage.

I've had a nice day today man, started off watching the F1 qualifiers, then France v Argentina, now Portugal v Uruguay then I'll switch over and watch the boxing
been a nice steady drink as well, had 5 cans of Stella and a few glasses of wine, got 2 cans of Stella left and a bottle of wine to get through, I don't often drink on a Saturday but I've rather enjoyed myself today.
P.S. I'll also be ordering my curry in a bit as well, chicken and prawn madras with pilau rice, keema naan and a half portion of lamb vindaloo :LOS::LOS:

Croatia v Denmark has been dreadful after the first 5 minutes.
After two great games yesterday we have had two dull drab draws which relied on penalties to choose the winner, maybe I was spoiled yesterday but these games today have done nothing for me.
Having said that I have done nothing but watch sport all weekend, fucking sick of it now, I'll watch the second half of Brazil v Mexico when I get in from work tomorrow but I don't reckon I'll bother with Belgium v Japan/
